Might be an ATL for this one. I managed to get one but my previous experience is that Costco deals like this go OOS real quick.

Not much I can do now now. ITs as great TV and that was the cheapest available and with a delivery next day as my other TV died.

I saw them drop to $2700 a week later … and now this special from Costco, cracker price for what it is. I have the 98" version too , its amazing. Just need more 4K content as lot of stuff is still 1080p at best these days.

  • Almost jumped for joy, then realized it was C7K.
Hoping 85C8K hits $3k mark then i'll pounce.

    Awesome work OP

  • I'm tossing up between this and the $2.85k Samsung QN90F on the recent Samsung EPP/government deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/919686. What would others choose?

    • Hisense lol

  • Sheesshhh.. Nearly there,, got to hold for a few months hopefully for a sub $2k deal

    • you should be able to save the extra few hundred by then

  • This is how much I paid for my 75" C8K 😲

    • this 85"

      • Me Bondy

    • I’m waiting for that to drop to this price again. Lowest I’ve got quoted so far incl shipping (in WA) was $2800 :(

OMG OOS already, my luck :(

    • Still showing as in stock for me.

  • I see a lot mentioning "wait for the C8K"

countless reviews stating the only difference is slightly higher peak brightness, better reflection handling and upscaling from 480p is better at removing blocky artifacts.

I have the 85" C7K, in a bright room with windows, brightness level is at 35, too bright still 🤣

    just my 2 cents y'all

    • C8K has 5000 nit brightness, and double the miniled zones

      • +1

        mfw 5000 nits 😎

        • haha yea I have an 85C855 and its blinding in the dark

    • I am coming from a 75" Hisense P8, which has vertical edge lit dimming zones (that are so annoying I have disabled them permanently) and around 500 nits brightness at its absolute best, so the upgrade to the C7K should be quite noticable.

    • This or OLED if same price?

      • If you can get an OLED for the same price at the same size, go OLED. But just note that this is significantly brighter than OLEDs and would be more suited for a very bright room. OLEDs perform much better in darker rooms

  • Ive got the 75". Great TV

  • OOS now for me. Just got off the phone with Costco and was told that it will be back Online on 19/08/2025. There's also delivery restrictions for my postcode (unsure about whole of WA) so wouldn't have been able to buy the TV anyway if it was in stock.

    • Yep OOS showing for me too. These Costco deals dry up very quickly!

  • Any stock instore?

Great price, great tv. Got it for 2.6k from appliances online 2 weeks ago. Super impressed so far. I returned a buggy tcl tv in 2020 but these are wildly impressive. My mate said in many ways it was better than his 3yr oled. Just for brightness factor
