  Is the reason people buy this for the art aspect, or do the specs hold up at the price even excluding the art part?

    This should tell you everything you need to know - S85F blows it out of the water if you are going to use this as a TV and not a picture frame

        The S85F is significantly brighter than The Frame, negating the effect of the matte finish and also giving you deeper blacks than the matte finish

      Except rtings reviews the QD-OLED version of the S85F instead of the WOLED one which you can only get here.

        I am seeing conflicting information about this, retailers showing only *EXXY model codes which are WOLED models, and some sources saying the 65 and 55 are WXXY (qd-oled) codes

        Also the panel change will not change the fact the The Frame is an inferior TV all-round

          @Chizzle: 65 and 55 inch version of the S85F are QD-OLED in North America only. Outside of North America, they are all WOLED.

          Sure, the Frame is still inferior since it's not OLED, but the rtings comparison is still invalid and it might not be as much better as rtings says it is. Keep in mind that there is still a significant price difference.

  Oh, and is the AI free for ever, as on their phones (including mine) it says AI is only free until end of 2025?

    They confirmed the samsung AI phone features will keep being free, but not necessarily the third party (google) ones.

      Ah, thats good. I hadn't read that anywhere.

      Their site still says end of 2025 .

      Galaxy AI features will be provided for free until the end of 2025 on supported Samsung Galaxy devices.
