Existing Leaptel nbn Users (FTTP & HFC) - Check Your Account for a Possible Early Speed Upgrade

For those due for a speed upgrade next month (FTTP and HFC), Leaptel appear to have updated their 100/20 plan to 500/50 plan a few weeks early. As an existing customer I was able to switch to 500/50, from 100/40, and also get $10/month off. I was coming from 100/40 at $89.95/month ($10 off/month), I moved to it recently as it had a $10/month promo and was cheaper than my 100/20 at $92.95/month. You probably won't get the discount if you were already on 100/20, but you will at least get the speed upgrade a little early for your $. Let me know how you go below.

For new nbn FTTP and HFC users, the nbn plans are showing 500/50 at $79.95/month for 12 months, then $92.95 thereafter, for the 'fast' 500/50 plan.

  Some other OzBargainers on 100/20 got a discount and 500/50.

  Long term FTTP customer - My 100/20 just went from $74.95 to $89.95 (discounts expired).
  Logged into my portal and went to change plan - it shows 500/50 for $82.95 for 6 months. Damn upsells!

  Im on the $75 100/20 and need to pay $79.99 if i want to upgrade to the 500 plan i think if i wait i should get the upgrade for free

    The wholesale price increased, so I assume they're just holding off increasing your price until the 500/50 hits anyway.

      solidussnake keeps paying $75/m until the 12 month deal is finished and gets 500/50 from next month.

      $92.95/m ongoing after 12 months.
