  • There's also 20% chemist warehouse during same period capped at $20

    • Posted here.

    • Why does that matter? This deal says "excludes Chemist warehouse". Am i reading that wrong?

      • Why did I get downvoted for asking a question? It is not clear to me if the 'excludes Chemist warehouse' relates to the whole deal or just to the 'cap'. People read and interpret things differently and I was asking for clarification. :-(

I upvoted you. Yeah, I don't like downvote too. More people need to think from different perspectives or the other side. Downvote has negative aura that affects people's emotion, perception, and behaviour. I prefer downvote to be removed @scotty . Even Facebook shows Like, no Dislike in posts. Facebook knows how to keep people spend more time in it as long as possible.

Facebook users keep increasing, while there are years where the amount of users here have decreased maybe because of immigration as one of the reason (most of us are immigrants) caused by the government try to reduce international students numbers in recent years (also blamed for housing problem lol), economic hardship and other factors. Look at the demographic of members here who have attended Ozb meetups. Mostly Asians (include me) are well known to like shopping (and bargains). New Samsung and iPhone release can prove that and also the demographic of people who go to shopping centres (at least I saw in Melbourne and Sydney). I don't see that many Aussie …

          • @neoleo: Thank you @neoleo for the upvote. I appreciate your understanding that different people can interpret the same thing differently.
I am also not sure what value downvoting has here.
This is the first time I had a downvote and it wasn’t for a negative or controversial comment. Just a legit question that I still did not get confirmation on.

@CL123: Downvote and upvote show how many people like/dislike our posts/comments. But even Facebook knows that Dislike is not good for its growth. Like makes people happy and stay longer, make more posts/comments. Dislike makes people leave faster as it can affect emotion, mental health, etc.

Don't think too much about the downvote and try to keep our mind in positive state (not easy for everyone). Just move on to the next bargains/posts. Almost the end of August. I saw cherry blossom with some friends in cherry blossom festival last week. Maybe look forward to Tulip season with friends next month in Bowral, NSW or Canberra during Tulip Festival and also Jacaranda trees the month after :-) I have been here for years, but still like these kind of thing. Travelling is also good for our mental & physical health.

    • is it press F4 on CW EFTPOS machine?

        • cheers

    • I have two shopback account, but have one wbc card, can I jump between by removing and adding?

  • This is instant cashback right? Not for use on the next visit same place?

    • It would be an instant 50% discount ($10 cap) when you 'Apply Promo' before swiping to pay with your linked Westpac card.

When I used a similar promo, some stores also have a % return cashback (from 5% to 15%, varies with store).

    Thanks OP

  • Imagine this has no cap … I can see participating stores become much cheaper for purchases :P

  • Only 20% is appearing.

    Can anyone see 50% off?

    • If you click/tap "Pay in-store" and click/tap each store, it's there.

    • I clicked on my local Chemist Warehouse and it only shows 20% as well.

My earlier questions have not been answered so I am still confused whether this will work at any CW but now seeing there is only 20% showing, I am assuming the answer is NO.

I went back and clicked on other merchants on the list and they show 50% promo icon so it must only be 50% if that shows on the store you want to buy from. This means not valid at CW, or at least not any stores near me.

will this deal work with coles / woolworths?

    • No. Only for stores listed in the SB Pay section.

  • How do they calculate 50% off?
    Somehow 50% off $18.80 is $8.38

    • 50% discount would have applied. The discrepancy is most likely the service charge. It would show in the receipt.

  • What's the best store to use this on?

    • For me any store you need to buy from. That u dun have discount gc and u can use shopback to pay

Just used this at Papparich $24 for two nasi lemak using Shopback down to total $14.21. then bought a teh tarik $3 next transact that allow to come with any meal. Used pay by banked offer down to $1 that used shopback balance. also cleared cashback $2.10 on first transact.

    I think it's a win here

  • Went to 2 shops that listed by shopback location. None of them accept shopback payment.
