Hi Ozbargainers,

All Hayfever relief suppliers are imminently expecting their new stock for the Australian 2025 allergy season and are clearing everything they have in stock currently, I've scooped up bucket loads of stock and I was particularly excited when Fexo came onto the discount list. From a volume perspective its definately a top seller to Ozbargainers so I'm hoping this absolute bargain bulk deal will go down well tonight. Stock is super limited but I think I have enough to keep this deal running for at least a few days to a week (at least 70-80 sets available at the time of listing).

Given the ridiculous price of stamps and satchel post, rising well above typical inflation while service standards go backward I am currently reviewing our "Free" post position, which we've had on our website since we opened on day 1 - it may have to go soon as we really can't keep the prices at their current margins and also offer free post. I've noticed some competitors charge a base postage of $7.99-$9.99 or so and then let clients load up as much as they want after they've paid this base postage sum and make postage free only after $50-100 in gross spend. Currently we usually upgrade most orders over $50 to a trackable service at our cost, but this is more to protect us from buyer fraud, than it is designed to provide clients better service or increase sales - let me know your thoughts on what we should do below in the comments as I have to change something soon, i'm just not sure what to change. I certainly don't want to burn our customer base and upset everyone, but I also know that if I don't fiddle some knobs soon we wont be able to sustain our market position. Its the old price elasticity debate - do we charge more, sell less but actually make more profit? Really not sure, lots of arm chair experts in Ozbargainia - please chime in below

HOWEVER - This item and most likely bulk Ozbargain deals into the future will post by satchel at our cost, so for tonights deal please select the FREE post option at checkout and your item will post by Satchel with tracking.

Last weeks Ibuprofen deal literally broke my fingers packing most of the 400-500 orders, there are around 40x orders from Saturday and today sales still to be posted which I have recruited someone to complete tonight as I now literally hate ibuprofen and I am actually happy to take a loss to pay someone to get the balance of orders and stock out the door, everyone who provided an email address should have received (or will receive tonight) a dispatch confirmation. Given this was a high volume super low margin deal, as always please PM any questions and please try not to call the store or choke up our email with 200x "where's my item" type emails, sending a PM will result in a much faster and friendlier response.

Here is that deal again if anyone missed the post: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/920811

Item: 192x Ibuprofen 200mg, Coated Tablets (considered a premium over non coated)
Price: $11.99
Delivery: Free
Stock Available As Of Listing: 2,000 500 boxes
Link: https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/trust-iburprofen-200…
Exp: End August 2026

Other quantities available, click through to our store if you want fewer or more tablets. But from our previous experience 192x Tabs seems to be the sweet spot for many clients and this makes the best use of the envelope size required to post the item.

  • Do you have diarrhoea tablets?

  • +1

I think offering a flat $5 shipping fee is a pretty palatable price and is still well below the shipping rate CW and other pharmacies charge at the moment.

    • I was going to say the same but then looked at my eBay and Ali Express shopping habits: I personally will actually spend a bit more to get the ‘free’ shipping option rather than pay for it. Even though my brain tells me the cost of the shipping is built into the price my emotional side is happy I’m getting something extra at no charge.

Here’s an idea @jason101, you could try over the course of a couple of weeks 2-3 deals with near-identical options where you offer one at an increased margin with ‘free’ shipping and another with lower price but flat-rate postage. The market will soon point you at which is more popular.

      • Thanks I might give that a go - your comment has given me an idea

  • Do you have Allertine 20mg/bilastine ?

    • I've had a few requests, but not enough volume (volume needed to obtain good pricing) for us to stock the product. If others want this product please reply to Jaivinder's comment, so I can judge the demand
