Not quite ATL (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/910994)

But mildly cheaper than https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/921278 if you don't need the dual NIC and extra ram/storage. But tbh an extra 4/256GB is probably worth the extra $15 AUD

N100
8GB DDR4 3200 SODIMM (unclear if single or dual slot)
256 GB M.2 2280 (unclear if SATA or PCIe)
Dual 4K 60Hz output
Single GbE

  • Most likely single slot ram. But its normal for the cpu.

    • correct.. the CPU only supports single channel RAM.

    • N100 only has 9 PCIe lanes, single channel.

  • I got this in the last deal. works pretty well installed linux on it with some containers. impressed for the price.
but i think that G2 deal (one he linked in description, is a better deal overall for slightly more)

    • Is it good fof running Home Assistant?

  • +2

the G2 is much better, 256G SSD cost minimum $20.

  • Any good for HA OS?

    • Yes works well. I have one of these with Proxmox installed and running HA OS VM, a Docker LXC and Nginx Proxy Manager LXC.
Replaced a Dell Micro 7060 with a i5-8500T, no discernible difference in performance for my use case.

      • Works fine with HAOS baremetal with frigate running 12 cams with coral

    • Perfect HAOS box

  • How easy are these devices for tweaking and replacing things like ram or processor

    • Typical sodimms, but usually only one or two slots.

Processor is integrated and soldered to the board.

      • -2

Crazy how all of that can be made modular but nobody wants to do it

    • super easy……

  • is $151 AUD now it seems, with the coupon code.

    • Yeah, they just jacked up the price.

  • Grrr $143 for me

  • EU Plug, pass!

    • Isn't it a simple figure 8 cable that can be changed ?

      • Nop, you need an adapter

    • Its a 12v plug you likely have lying around as the AU version… the other model posted (12GB) though appears to be usb C despite it saying EU plug.

      • +1

Comes with plug. I just run of a pd adapter USB c, mines in a 12v environment

  • Does this have 2.5gb or 1gb ethernet jack? It literally says both on the page

  • +2

    The warranty support is great
Got a g3 for home assistant and the fan bearing got very noisy it's 11.5 mths old
Emailed them took pictures and receipt
They got straight back asking for address
5 days later got a package from auspost from china with fan.
Some other companies need to offer a warranty like that

  • This item cannot be shipped to Australia.
Am I the only one getting this message?

    • No, same here:

This product can't be shipped to your address.
      Select another product or address.

  • Could this run Windows XP or Vista/7? I want to play some early-mid 2000s games.

    • it could run the O/S, however there wouldn't be drivers for the audio, video, cpu, network…

  • Ok good to know. Thanks for the info.

    • depending on the game, if it's available on GOG .com then they are already optimised to run at correct speed under windows 10/11

  • This is in stock and shipping to AU again. I just ordered one, the coupon worked too.
