How does it go dealing with reflections? My Sony X90-whatever is terrible.
I think also shiny but was hard to tell. Did a smartphone camera light test. The TV was in a location within the store that wasn't too exposed to light. The Hisense was definitely giving a different light reflection feel.
It does reflect the downlights pretty bad but during the day light reflection is tolerable.
Is it glossy and very reflective. My complaint with my 75C7K is the reflection on mine is very wavy compared to the instore display so a replacement is TV being organised. Looks like the level of waviness might be different between units.
Fingers crossed the replacement is an improvement over the first one I received. The display is great at night though. Very nice picture.
i tell ya what mini LED is pretty switch i know alot of people bang on about OLED but mini LED is just as good.
ATL ?
What is their price drop policy. how long do you get?
14 days usually.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on the 85”… seems like a good price… $2,636
Qn90f 85" for $2800. Should I ?
Where are you seeing that price?
Should I ? I value your opinion
It's 3k via this deal. Can get it below that with the stackable 5% 1st order, 5% chat and/or trade up.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/919686Should they?
85c8k can be had for under $3200 as well. Increased brightness, more dimming zones, better audio, and borderless screen looks so nice.
Family member has a c7k though and it's still a great TV for the price.
Considering this one too. I'm thinking… this or hisense equivalent?
I paid $2118 last week.
I was waiting on the c8k to hit 2 grand..Am i sacrificing much with the c7k?
If you're willing to wait and don't need it now. Do it. Check the RTing review for both & for comparisons.
I have been, and will keep waiting, for the C8K 75" to hit below $2K
How does this compare to the C855?
The 855 is better than the C7k in every way. 855 is last year's flagship but you'd struggle to find it now. Having said that, the C7K is still a great TV.
Some butt hurt c7k owners are negging me. Have a look at the Rtings comparison.

Beats the C7k in every category. Only this year's C8K trumps the C855 from last year.
Not a bad price. If I got a jbl800 soundbar. Would i use it with this or use the built in? Not too happy with it with especially PLEX. Got an old tv and not sure if that's the issue with passthrough. Playing through Nvidia SHIELD pro. Then again YouTube got much better sound. Must've missed something. But perhaps with this could use Plex on os instead of Nvidia and get good sound? Currently got a ffalcon 55"
JBL 800 soundbar would blow this TV's inbuilt speakers (and every other TV's inbuilt speakers) away.
Thanks. Just have to look into why so soft sound on especially PLEX.
Try plugging the Shield directly into the JBL. Avoid going through the TV.
Should I use Plex as a tv app or use Nvidia Shield pro. See it just support 60hz 4k on shield and usb 2.0.
Which TCL is best for reflections?
I believe it considering looking at the C7K at full brightness is akin to staring into the sun
I looked at the TCL 75s - P7K, C6K, C7k in a JBHIFI store recently and they were arranged in a row.
Both the P7K and C6K look like the same matte finish on the screen with what id consider normal TV reflections.
The C7k was a gloss finish and reflected alot, Though its a very bright screen so overcame it of course. Sort of ended up about even, but i have an aversion to reflective screens just because you never know whats going to reflect until it does and theres nothing you can do about it.Have C7k, lots of refections but high brightness overcomes it. C8k would be same (is even brighter) , have seen complaints that c6k also reflective but is not bright enough.
Thanks I'm really having trouble choosing between c6k and c7k myself. I don't like reflective screens but like the idea of the extra dimming zones and a good hdr experience
$1400 and this is a deal. Surely there's a JB discount floating around
TCL is now finally giving headaches to other TV companies.
If you're looking for the 98 inch, Videopro has it cheaper.

Today $1523. Just got one. $1582 with delivery.
Great price, got the 65C7K for 1095 with delivery. TCL doing work ATM. Like the TV needs a soundbar if playing music as it does not like anything too basey
How did you get that price? Or do you mean in a previous sale?
Thegoodguys $1582 delivered pricebeat.
Got them to change it to 1523 now so don't pay yet, you always get 24 hours, they commited to delivery as well
Yeah paid $1523. Already paid the delivery fee. Went to the store today as got the $40 off in store with $140 purchase (received text message this morning). Got some new HDMI cables and surge protector board. Getting it tomorrow. Looked at store at the 65". Such a difference compared to our ffalcon 50".
Yeah sames, figuring out how to use the $40 with the tv 🤣 oh well, good deal either way!
Got this TV on a recent deal, its amazing for the price. Google OS is smooth and blacks are dark enough to enjoy night time movie watching.
