  • Onepass deal is $200 on renewal. Kogan 365, 140GB is always $150, probably worth considering to save the hassle from porting once the 365 days are up?

    • I thought kogan is using vodafone network.

      • That's correct.

  • Worst network I've ever been with. The signal is always low or non-existent. Nothing I've used in the past compares to this garbage.

I have to say I have had the complete opposite experience. I was with Telstra through Boost and had 5G and my Onepass mobile on 4G is so much better and faster than what I had with Boost Mobile. I was very hesitant to move from Telstra to Optus. It must be area dependant but I can only say I am much happier with my reception with Onepass. I live in Melbourne south Eastern suburbs.

      • I have the same opinion. Optus network is much better than Telstra in my area.

  • Optus suck in my area

    • Maybe don't buy it

Tried out the Optus 7-day trial and, surprisingly, the 4G coverage in my area is actually better than Telstra’s 5G. Indoors I’m consistently getting 2-3 bars with Optus, whereas Telstra usually sits around 0-1. Optus 4G downloads speeds are consistently hitting 600-700Mbps indoors.

Since my Telstra 365 day plan (from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/863477) is expiring on 21st Sept, I’m thinking of jumping on this deal.

The offer says it ends on 09/09/2025 and needs to be activated within 30 days. Just to confirm, if I buy it today, can I still activate it by 21st Sept (since that’s within the 30-day window)?

    • How are you achieving 600-700 Mbps indoors? Which plan are you currently on?

      • Just on the 7 day free Optus trial to test their speeds in order to make up my mind whether to switch or not.
Here's a screenshot of the speed (~786) on 5G from earlier in the morning.
