Get Vodafone for under $130 after TCB 30% back (ends at midnight!) with an extra 20GB…

    • And 5g

    • Do you have a link for that?

    • I am buying tonight. Seems all the prepaid sim price is up. And Vodafone is the cheapest one on the market.
Dont forget Vodafone has $5 per day international roaming if have travelling plans.

Unfortunately it doesn't apply to the deal I linked above, see recent comments when I asked earlier today

        • You r right. Thank you for the heads up. Still going to purchase it as it is good value

Regretfully moved recently from Kogan (Vodafone) to this one. Reception was much better with Kogan (I spend most of my time within Western and Southwest Sydney areas)

Just a heads up if you are planning to purchase OnePass mobile SIM, delivery is via standard mail/letter envelope so takes a while. Would recommend to order well ahead of time!

Also regarding porting, I ported in multiple prepaid numbers for family members from Telstra. Randomly a couple of them took around 36 hours (initiated on Tuesday 8am) to port-in to Onepass mobile (apparently Onepass 'forgot' about it until I contacted their live chat). Others pretty much happened in minutes.

chipping in- the snail mail for my part didnt get to me first time around, as they left out the "unit" part of the address in the invoice/mail when posting, even though it is clearly added in account registration part (double checked in the registered account).

TLDR; check the address in invoice!

  • Any one pass yearly promo codes?

  • Woolies mobile yearly prepaid where you get 10% off shop a month that basically pays for itself is the best deal no?

    • +1

Do you get the 10% off groc via the yearly prepaid? I thought that’s only for the monthly plan

    • +1

only valid for monthly plans nowadays. Old plans grandfathered so still applicable but not to new connections

Optus is shit. Don’t do it to yourself

    • I would normally agree but I recently ported to Spintel which are Optus network, and I don't get the dead spots in Melbourne CBD any more, so I think I'll last using it beyond the first month!

    • Blanket comments like this are shit. Don’t listen to them.

  • Anyone know or tested if OnePass mobile offers free wifi calling without having to pay for international roaming?

    • +5

No, Optus and Vodafone geblock WiFi Calling, including for their MVNOs.

Only Telstra (and their MVNOs) have no geoblock for WiFi Calling.

      • Thankyou, that's very helpful.

  • Please note, I had this simcard - during my trip to japan, south korea, singapore - it does not pick up signal at all.
Beware if you need sms OTP, it wont work.

    • It's likely you didn't enable roaming on the service. Onepass advertises that it works overseas (incl Japan) and can receive texts for free. Additionally they offer roaming packs to make calls. You'd have to enable roaming in the phone settings for it to pick up a foreign signal

  • Compared to Catch Mobile, This service seems so much worse. Its much slower and the reception is worse than when it was Catch. The mobile app is horrible. Might have to cut my losses and switch to Boost again.

  • Lebara 425GB 360-Days $219 (sometimes at $199). Usual price $300

    New customers ONLY.

Offer ends 11 Aug 2025. It is on offer roughly once every 2 months.

    Unlimited standard talk and text.

Unlimited standard minutes to 50 countries.

4G/5G (Lebara runs on Vodafone) network.

  • Once your OnePass Mobile SIM 365-day prepaid plan expires, how long can you receive text messages or calls before you lose the number?

Just asking as my new OPM SIM is still in the mail.

  • Currently on a discontinued plan grandfathered from Catch. Does porting out and back in count as a new service? I don't usually bounce back to the same MVNO but I wasn't keeping track of when my plan ended and there's not much else going in this bracket at the moment.

    • Does porting out and back in count as a new service

You need to port to a different provider first (i.e. cannot have the same telco provider ID), and then can port back in right away.
