These are amazing and the price is a steal. The only thing I miss in these is multipoint connectivity if you care about it. They have amazing bass and sound quality compared to bone conduction earphones.

  • IP55-rated dust and splash resistance for long durability
  • 17 hours long playtime with fast charging: 15 minutes for 5 hours of use
  • Preset EQ and more controls are available via the EDIFIER ConneX App
  • Elastic, silicone-coated neckband for a comfortable, secure fit
  • 80ms low latency for smooth gaming

One thing to note is that they do not have the usual usb c port for charging but a custom one

Can also pair with the additional $5 off if you use visa card and quote the coupon code VISAFIVE

    • All I could find on them to compare:

-The 8 ohm impedance indicates the electrical resistance of the headphone drivers, which is typical for many consumer headphones and allows them to work efficiently with most portable devices without needing large amounts of power.
-The sensitivity of 90dB ± 3dB means the headphones can produce a reasonably loud sound output from a moderate power input, suitable for everyday listening.
-The working distance of 10 meters with no obstacles refers to the Bluetooth wireless range.
-The battery life is around 8 hours of continuous use at 80% volume, with a charging time of approximately 2 hours.

In comparison to higher-end bone conduction headphones like the Shokz OpenRun Pro (which has about 8.5 ohms impedance and higher sensitivity of around 105dB), the Anko model may deliver lower maximum loudness and potentially less dynamic audio quality. However, the specifications suggest decent functionality for casual or sports use, focusing on situational awareness and comfort over premium audio fidelity.

      • Comparing Shokz with Anko?

        • My bad.

It took I but to decipher what your. Moment was about tbh.

When I posted this I must have clicked on the link within this post for the anko target ones for $25.

I thought I was replying to that deal.

Bugger… as I now ended missing this actual one.

      Isnt that a good rating?

      • Very; Being rated top 80% isn't a bad outcome…
Can't really use 'only' in this scenario.

  • -1

not great if you are ticklish though..

    • +2

I've found bone conduction tickly, but this style ("air conduction") not to be.

      • my mistake, thought it was a bone conduction set

  • +11

air conduction… isnt that just sound…

    • Yes. Stupid term. But it's not home conduction, and it doesn't cover the earhole.

  • Stupid question - does bone conduction (like Shokz) allow more sound passthrough or would it be similar?

    • +8

Shokz transfers sound through your skull. You can wear ear plugs blockout all outside noise and it would still be clear. This is just a little speaker beside your ear, wearing ear plugs would also block out it's sound.

cool cheers, I'll skip this one (sounds like I want bone conduction instead ;))

        • +3

wearing bone conduction and ear plugs would be the same as wearing normal ear phones.

Jb hi fi have them on display to try them out, can experience what they're like before you commit to spending the $ as they cost a bit.

Proprietary charging cable/port is a bit of a bummer

  • Gone? Saying out of stock for me
Shame. As I’m after something to the old backbeats pro, haven’t found anything that compares

  • +8

Air conduction seems like a forced, nonsensical buzzword for this. Just wireless earphones that sit on the ear, I guess? Shame. Thought there was actually an affordable pair of bone conduction headphones to try.

      • Wow. What DOESN'T K-Mart do now? Lol.

I like that it uses USB C, nothing proprietary too. Although I can't imagine they're "good", the price sure is right.

        • +1

For $25 roll the dice. Then post the bargain if it is any good…!

          • +1

@bemybubble: Oh wait, Target, not K-mart. Eh, same diff where Anko brand is concerned.

            And yes, true that.

You can try those generic from Aliexpress for around $15. Read my comment below.

  • OOS

  • Air conduction sounds like renaming normal earphones… 😂

I've purchased that "Xiaomi" from Aliexpress. It's most deifitely a fake generic. Box has misspellings, manual is generic without any Xiaomi mention, diagram doesn't follow the margins, etc. The model is identified as B8 and doesn't exist within Xiaomi product range in China or elsewhere.

Having said that, they are actual bone conduction headphones. If you use earplugs the sound actually improves. Pretty decent for less than $15.
