Pepsi 330ml Cans x 24 - $4.99 at Super IGA Kelmscott WA

600

Super IGA in Kelmscott has these imported Pepsi cans in stock quite a lot but have never seen them priced this low. $4.99 for 24 330ml cans. From the writing on the cans I think they're from Dubai. I've bought them before and can't tell any difference in taste between this and Australian stock.

Doubt it's available in any other IGA store, but they do have plenty of stock if you're nearby.

This is upsetting for people who live far and away, very upsetting

  • when is the 'Best Before' date ?

I'm not sure to be honest I didn't buy any this time - on a health kick and didn't need all that sugar in the house.

Jesus that is cheap! I bought 2x 24 can block for $22 over Xmas and thought that was a bargain…

    Was there any max?

    • +2

Nope - just normal standard Pepsi!

  • Thunder Muscle

  • 21c per can, not bad but oversea product seem to have a high sugar content compare to australian product

Yet Australians have a higher obesity rate than overseas? O_O

      • The high obesity is why australian drink have low sugar content. Soft drink is not the only cause

    • I thought Pepsi was Pepsi no matter where you bought it from.

      • Used to think that about Heinz baked beans and Magner's cider back in Blighty…then I moved to Australia…yeah, stuff tastes different in different countries - local ingredients and all.

It's hard to believe that anyone in the entire supply chain of this Pepsi could be making any money when it is imported from so far away. The shipping costs alone would have to account for at least half of the total price.

    • Probably old stock about to expire, better sell them cheap instead of throwing away. Its not too hard to find this kind of prices for old stock at supermarket clearance stores.

  • Ticket says save $5. Even when they're not on special 42c per can is pretty cheap still.

  • I think it's past its best before date…

  • i wonder if you can get 10c rebate p/can so if you recycled them it would effectively be 2.60…Bargain!

    • Only if you send the cans to SA/NT… but it would probably cost more to send them over than it would for the money you get back…

Be careful probably made with corn syrup which is far worse than refined sugar

Do you health nuts ever rest? If I want to consume drink containing corn syrup, I damn well will. I'll drink that stuff out of the bottle just to spite you.

  • can I get this deal in Sydney IGA?
