  • Is this a solid bookcase?

    • This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the enclosed wall fastener.

      • I think that's their recommendation for all the bookcases they sell.

    • Edit: answered a question already answered.

It's not liquid or gas, so it must be solid.

With that logic, it could also be plasma!

  • which IKEA did you go to?

  • Yes….Solid wood and i bought it from Ikea Springvale.

  • By members do you mean IKEA Family, or something else?

    • yes…IKEA Family

      • I'm a member but coming up ad $199?????

        • I'm a member but coming up ad $199?????
          same here!

  • Also found some bargain side tables.
    non member price $19.99
    Member price $8.49

    • Mine is still coming up as $19.99????

change colour to - birch effect

        • All the non-gloss colours are $9.99. Black, Black/Brown, Birch, White.

Edit - but green isn't gloss, so my comment not quite accurate…

    • For the normal 9.99 price these are alright. We use one daily. Nothing special, but does the job. Think the paper veneer is starting to come off though on a leg…

  • Bought one of these over a year ago. Great price, and looks different (I think better) compared to their standard shelves.

    • The design certainly suits a different style. Just wish I could use it somewhere.

  • Trying to sign up for IKEA family but after confirming my addy, subsequent pages don't load. Anyone else have similar issues?

i joined about a year ago and still haven't received my membership card, so don't hold your breath…

      • +1

You can download a card using their site, or do the same at the store using their kiosks for that purpose.

    • It launches fine for me now, but it seems the process don't write match up with OP's post or the subsequent comment about the discount of the Lack table.

edit: was a comment by OP :-)
      Or am I missing something?

  • No WA!!!!

IKEA FAMILY isn't available in WA and SA IKEA stores, so you won't receive an IKEA FAMILY card.

You can still enjoy your family benefits when you visit us in other states though. Just hit continue now to complete your registration. Then when you visit an IKEA store in QLD, NSW or VIC, simply log in at a kiosk and print a temporary card.

  • Am I missing something here? where do I see 'family' pricing? Is there a toggle of some sort?

  • +1

I have provided the receipt. All you have to do is go and grab one. Plenty of stock left when I got mine. You will not miss as they located in just near the check out with $67.15 on it.

Also the thing you should know is the package is narrow but 195cm long so you will need SUV or station wagon or roof racks fitted vehicle to take home.

Specials are sometimes site specific (i.e. a special at Tempe wont necessarily be available at Homebush)

"The benefits of being FAMILY don’t stop there; visit IKEA Tempe for these exclusive offers. The following offers are available to IKEA Family members from 24 January 2013 to 13 March 2013 only at IKEA Tempe, while stocks last."
