Whattt. last Saturday bought using SEPT10 :( now it SEPT15 .. may be wait for a week and it will be SEPT20

Nah, profit margins just ain't that big in booze

    • Same should've tried other obvious codes before ordering

  • +3

Is it just me, or are these deals coming up more often than before?
I have stocked up enough booze to last me until the new year from the deals last month.

    • +2

I notice a lot of retailers are offering sales, and more often, than they used to. I think its to try and gain business during high COL times, as youd rather sell more of something with lower profits than make no sales at all.

    • The alcohol market is in very bad shape. Consumption is down, venues aren't paying suppliers, and the big producers are just throwing money at the problem.

GET A BLOOODY SLAB OF VB FOR $45.86 absolute bargain, WEEKEND SORTEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Dan's are scrambling to match Coles group discounts. It's taken them some time but they have finally woken up. Hopefully they have fixed their IT glitches when applying the discount code. Very poor technology for a company this size. A job for Jane to fix

Was looking at 1L of Bacardi, at 7am was 55.45 without any discount, now at 9am, member offer $61.85, and non-member $81.99 Interesting…

    • +6

Anybody shopping for booze at 7am deserves my respect

      • +3

Sorry I lied, it was actually 6.30

    • Same with 1L Smirnoff vodka. $55 -> $59. It was like $47 or something with the 15% off. I shouldn’t have hesitated.

  • hmmm… could buy Wither Hills Pinot Gris for $13 Member offer last week, now, with the 15% discount and a 5% off voucher, i'm still paying $13.70??? How does that work? (Cos they jacked the prices before the sale… imagine any business doing that??? Coles… Woolworths… etc)

    • Ok Jr, let me explain. If it was a member offer last week it was on sale last week. That has now finished and there are different member offers this week, which this deal will apply on top of.

Coles and Woolies have specials that run for a week, so do this every week too.

If they jacked all their non-member normal prices when the site-wide 15% discount came in then your point would be valid, but if they've just changed their member offers to different products and your particular bottle of cheap plonk happens to not be discounted this week then you're barking up the wrong tree.

    • It's showing as $13 member offer, $11.05 with 15% off, maybe your not logged in?

  • Getting some alcohol for the in-laws Xmas dinner, any decent options (no preference for alcohol, can be wine or spirits etc) that's heavily discounted and a good deal to stock up as gifts? Cheers.

Their website and app doesn't work very well on Android and Apple mobile products? Anyone else have this issue? Lag screen, frozen loads. Maybe it's a health sign to not get more alcohol.

    • the app is crap, 1 star

    • It's fixed now. Just make sure you login before using code as logging in afterwards erases the code.

  • good price for the following and bought 1 of each today:
