Did anyone else get this email?
I went ahead and did the reset password (although I haven't received a email to reset yet) before thinking about it properly. I'm guessing this may be a phishing scam?

The domain is literally The Good Guys. Why would it be a scam?

    • Not sure, I guess I'm overly paranoid thinking that scammers can easily spoof domain addresses especially in emails.
Also the existing website is still up which makes it more suss: https://www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au/

      Just checking…

Why did someone neg my comments? lol

        • +4

Wow, some of you are quite unhappy and bitter with life going by the negs. Its a genuine question. I haven't been rude or been a smart ass and my question genuinely valid. I hope you guys find peace.

@motlking: It is a fair question considering there's nothing on the old site about moving to a new one.

If still in doubt, you could give them a call using the contact phone number that is on the old website

@motlking: Just don't take NEGS personally.

Since you've been a member since 2009 - you should know that by now.

          • @motlking: I get it often
Lots of know-it-alls here that give very poor and misleading advice unfortunately

But I agree with you 100%

When you Google "The Good Guys Commercial" it comes up with a different web address

So OPs invitation is very suspicious indeed

    • Could ve a very illicit scam

here is the correct login page

      https://www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au/LogonForm?myAcctMai…

      Here is the Home page:

      https://www.thegoodguyscommercial.com.au/

Notice the subtle difference in the web address?

OP should trying logging into the official web page and see what happens

And I didn't get any updates website email like you did for my ggc account

    • +1

Yeah that’s what I noticed too. Now everyone is sayings it’s obviously legit I’m not sure lol

    omg

  • Let them stir Gerry

he is fit for another tantrum!

  • legit

  • +1

99% the listed URL and the actual link are different

  • You copied the text of the email here, however, that excludes the actual embedded links!

So as above (@mrkorrupt), I bet the actual link you were sent too was not thegoodguys.com.au !! (although, that WAS the text you clicked) :/

    • -2

Actually the link above was what was embedded under the text "Login Page".

Another link in the embedded in the email is: https://jbthegoodguyscorporatebenefitsproject.commerce.visio…
Anyone know if these are legit websites?

      • thats the staging site before it went live/in prod

        • lol and its still up and running, I wonder if anyone has placed ordered into the staging site.. do they get processed.

  • +2

    Legit:

    Having trouble logging in?
If you're seeing the following message when trying to sign in:

"Your organisation has been disabled. You cannot sign in. Contact your organization Administrator for further information."

This likely means you've been migrated to our new The Good Guys Commercial website.

They’re moving to a url based login this month

  • Is the password reset not working for anybody else?

    • +3

I suggest using a stronger password than 'reset'.

  • I signed in and the pricing is the same as the retail site, not the old GGC site.

  • +1

I personally prefer not to use links in emails especially if changing passwords.

  • LOL I actually think its not legit.. there is at least TWO sites maybe more..

This one appears to be new site now uses an email instead of a user name.
I had to do a full account setup again but this new site is faster and looks "legit"

    https://commercial.thegoodguys.com.au/

but for some reason the old is still up and not working. The style sheets are totally different, this newer site faster and better.

Anyway pretty typically of IT for retailers. Basics like turning off the old website and seemlesssly moving people to the new site is kinda a good idea no one actually thought about actually doing. They also forgot to actually email anyone saying they were releasing a new website (well at least I didn't get an email) :)
