Is it $100 incl GST or excluding GST?

Not really happy with how they dealt with the previous deal where there was no mention of GST inclusive or exclusive

    • +16

Based on the tracker in the app, it's ex-GST. Not that they've done anything to clarify that compared to the previous one when they said they would. In fact, the T&Cs have less detail.

      Make sure you spend $110

Sorry OP, but the neg is for ShopBack's deceptive practices, not your detailed post.

Hi @gotyourback, can you please confirm before we purchase?

      • +1

This deal does not stipulate that the spend amount is ex.GST like the previous one which was snuck in. In the past, the deals would say spend $100, but then the tracker would go up to $90.91 to indicate it is ex.GST amount. If it is the excluded GST amount, it would be misleading as we literally cannot be shown prices ex. GST.

For example, the eBay $20 spend shows $18.18.

  • I'm seeing the challenge on the website, if anyone manages to activate/join the challenge outside of the app let me know.

    @gotyourback

You recently confirmed that 0% categories are good for Bank bonus cashback, is this also the case for these challenges?

There was also some confusion regarding GST, is this $100 spend including or excluding GST?

Beside Amazon devices and physical books, the rest can be rounded down to 0%.

    • 0.5 rounds up

Waiting to buy walking pad under sports fitness category but it’s 0% Cashback, so does that mean it won’t be eligible for the bonus?

  • gift cards count?

    • +5

Payment is OK, buying them is not.

  • Be aware only eligible categories are eligible for this bonus

Cashback for ineligible categories will be rejected.

So the bonus will be rejected when purchasing unlisted categories

    • Wouldn't that be the exclusions like gift cards, etc. Not "everything else"

  • Do computer components fall under the electronics category.

    • +1

ShopBack says Computers are excluded from cashback (Includes Desktops, Laptops, Computer Bags, Monitors, Accessories, Storage, Network) But what about parts or individual components ? CPU's SSD's ect….

  • What about via Amazon global (Ie. Germany)?

  • This doesn't have to be in a single order right?

    • hope not, just did it over a few orders.

  • +5

    Too many technicalities

  • Can u use the buy more and save discount ie spend $59 and get $5 off

  • So toys e.g. lego not included

  • +1

    Mine still hasn't tracked

    • +2

Amazon takes a while to track, generally the next day. Don't stress :)

  • I have $10 Giftcard bonus that applied automatically. Does it count or?

    • Gift card balance amount works, Amazon promotion amounts do not.

  • Cancelled my yesterday order, reorder for extra $10+5% Westpac. Hopefully it tracks.

  • +1

Tracking just came through, but looks to be tracked as Home instead of Home Improvement. This is the item

Not too sure why it categorised it as something different as to what it was on the page. And no sign of Westpac as well.
