    Have done some double checking and all details as posted are correct. The deal only arrived via email this morning and is valid through January 4. Did you by any chance purchase some new books with your order? The deal is for used books only.

  I couldn't get this to work either . I received the offer via email as an existing customer , ordered 5 used books and get the “The certificate number or coupon code entered is invalid, has expired, or has already been used."

    Only other thing I can think of is that the code starts on 1 January which given they are about 16 hours behind would actually be about now. That makes no sense either as why would they have sent the coupon code early if it wasn't already enabled.

    If it was US specific why would they a. send it to people who are clearly outside the US b. make such a point of mentioning the low international shipping cost.

    It has a 100% success rate on retailmenot.com http://www.retailmenot.com/view/betterworld.com but I can't see how many people have actually used it.
