6730

Hi everyone, and happy Tuesday! If you haven't joined TCB, do so today to enjoy the most generous everyday cashback rates and a highest cashback guarantee!

For today’s deal we're offering a $5 bonus on all Amazon categories (see terms below for a few exclusions such as purchase of gift cards). We're currently running exclusive increases on Physical Books (8%) and Amazon Devices (12%) as posted here. Bonus cashback promo ends 23:59 AEST today (16/09/2025).

Be sure to first activate the bonus then clear your Amazon cart before clicking/tapping the pink cashback button from TopCashbackAU.

Thanks for your support as always 🙏
Stay safe, and enjoy 😊

Please read the following terms & handy tips carefully:

1. To participate in the $5 bonus cashback promotion, you must first be a member of TopCashback.com.au and must activate the offer prior to making a single eligible transaction of $25 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges) at Amazon.com.au.
2. After activation, the transaction must be made between 00:00 AEST on 16th September, 2025 and 23:59 AEST on 16th September, 2025.
3. The bonus is eligible on all Amazon categories, excluding the purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases. Note: payments made with Amazon gift cards are eligible for the bonus.
4. Your order must be made in a single transaction and may contain more than one item, but the order total must be at least $25 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges). Sales may report to your account excluding GST so the reported amount may be less than $25 – this is acceptable. Multiple items in an order may report separately in your account – this is also acceptable.
5. The bonus cashback will show as a separate entry in your TopCashback.com.au account once your order tracks, and will be payable once your order is payable. Tracking is not instant and may take up to 7 days to report.
6. If you cancel your order or Amazon.com.au deems the transaction ineligible for cashback, the cashback bonus will be removed.
7. The bonus cashback is over and above the advertised cashback rates which still apply.
8. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashback member. The bonus cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional bonuses (including tell-a-friend and sign-up bonuses) that may be active at this time.
9. The bonus cashback may not automatically apply where a missing cashback claim needs to be lodged. If this is the case and your claim is successful, you may need to raise a separate support ticket to be awarded the bonus. Please do not lodge a missing cashback claim until at least 7 days have passed.
10. TopCashback.com.au will not be held responsible for any technical failure or otherwise which prevents participation in this promotion.
11. Where a contradiction exists between the offer terms & conditions and TopCashback terms & conditions, the offer terms & conditions take precedence until the offer expires.
12. Any fraudulent activity will result in rewards being forfeited and accounts closed.

Bonus is eligible for:

13. Items added to cart after clicking/tapping from TopCashbackAU.
14. Purchase of products paid with gift cards.
15. The first (new) Subscribe & Save order. Subsequent orders are ineligible.
16. Pre-orders, but only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
17. Purchases from Amazon US/UK, provided you navigate & make the transaction via Amazon AU.

Bonus is ineligible on the following:

18. Purchase of gift cards, vouchers, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, mobile apps, Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals, bulk orders, commercial or reseller purchases.
19. Purchases paid with any Amazon credit as partial or full payment.
20. Use of any promotional codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
21. Items added to cart prior to clicking from TopCashbackAU.
22. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).
23. Items that are cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded.
24. GST, other taxes and delivery fees.
25. Fraudulent transactions.

Handy tips:

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant). For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from TopCashbackAU as tracking will be lost. TopCashbackAU must be your last click (not 3-Camels etc). Try our iOS/Android mobile app for improved tracking results. Use our contact form here for any questions or issues. Claims can be submitted here.

Item 4 in the OP ☺️

      • +5

making a single eligible transaction of $25 (inclusive of GST, but excluding shipping charges) at Amazon.com.au.

Yep, just making it blatantly obvious after this

And they are now putting it into titles e.g.
eBay: Spend $20 (Inc. GST) Get $5 Bonus (Excludes Coupon Codes) — Capped at 5,000 Opt-Ins @ ShopBack

        • +5

fyi that wasn’t a rep post

          • -1

@tonester: ah ok, should be the standard going forward.

            • +4

@impoze: actually no, it shouldn’t be the standard as it shouldn’t be needed - all qualifying spends should include gst, as that’s what’s required by law, given it’s what customers actually pay

              • +1

@tonester: ok, then Shopback should standardise all of their deals to be inc GST to avoid this happening again.

                • +2

@impoze: The GST confusion seems to be an issue with ShopBack only and had happened several times in the past. TopCashback doesn't have this GST issue.

    thanks TA :-)

The awesome deals as of late are starting to remind me of the CR heydays back when there were awesome, consistent deals being pushed out. Love to see it.

    • +7

Sadly doubt it will last, they're really just trying to attract customers from post-CR demise and solidify their market position, once the dust settles and with less competition in the space it gives them the ability to squeeze out more margins so less cashback for us going forward.

  • +1

Do you have to use the Amazon.com.au website or can you use the Amazon app?

    • +2

You can use either. I use the TopCashback app to Amazon AU app with mobile data and Chrome. Just make sure you click out from TopCashback first though.

  • Ahhh the usual grumpy, but I bought it yesterday!

  • -1

I bought it yesterday as well

  • +1

    Thanks, in time

  • Almost makes Amazon Prime worth while to get the lower free shipping threshold.

Without it, I have to spend $59, minimising my return.

    • -8

Amazon Prime already is worthwhile getting. Ask any OzBargainer.

      • +7

I had prime, and didn't renew.

I've been find without prime. There's no real significant savings, it just means you have to do larger orders.

The recent Prime day deals were lackluster, and I can just do a one month subscription if necessary.

        • +4

Now prime video has ads :(

      • Disagree. $59 order for free shipping is fine. I now only have prime for a few months a year (noting their streaming and games I only claimed never actually used so have no value to me)

        • To each their own I guess. I've saved nearly $500 this year with it already and $300 in delivery savings. And if you track staple item prices properly for regular grocery shopping to battle it out against Colesworth, Amazon can't be beat for me personally.

          • @KangaDrew: If you shop on amazon a lot, you probably don't have much trouble reaching the $59 minimum spend for free delivery.

So what are you gaining from prime membership?

            • @impoze: Not the OP but a huge amount of my transactions are below $59. Don't assume that every transaction is above $59 and includes free delivery. Here is where prime is advantageous

  • +1

    Amazon business eligible?

  • +3

    let see if it tracks.

    • Chemist Warehouse failed to track…hoping this works!

      • chemist warehouse tracked for me

  • +2

So this doesnt count towards the new user $10 threshold?

    • +7

Unfortunately bonuses are never part of referral thresholds. Only the actual cashback component is (on purchase). Hope this helps.

  • +4

Back to the good old Cashback wars with bonuses.

  • Great deal. Hopefully it tracks as I have had a shocking time recently with cashback tracking…

  • +3

Cheers. 30 pack Pepsi Max $25.20

    • Mine tracked at $22.90, do you think I'll get the $5?

      • +2

Yes, per item 4 in the OP. The bonus will be in your earnings page as a separate entry.

  • +2

$30 cap for 12.5% on expedia is pretty lame

    • Sorry but where are you seeing the $30 cap please, as Expedia is uncapped? Here's what I see.

      • +2

Seems like on the email sent out about 40 minutes ago, it says $30 cap, but when you click the link, it doesn't.

        • +6

Ah, nice spotting, thank you! This is obviously an error so please ignore as there is no cap for Expedia's upsize. Thanks again ☺️

          • @tightarse: Thanks guys. Yeah it was the email. Thanks for the clarification.

  • -1

    thanks TA

  • Is it activating properly? Clicking activate redirects to a page, but that page doesn't say anything about being activated. It feels like it's failing a backend check

  • +3

    any deals for around $25?

  • Hi @tightarse I assume this also working with Prime Savings Save 5% when you buy $40.00 of select items ?

    • It usually stacks.

  • -1

Just ordered something this morning, have to cancel and ordered again

    • What's wrong with cancel and order again to get the cash back?

      • All tracked, no problem.

  • +1

Should have waited and not trusted SB. Spent $114 last night and only about $50 spend got tracked. As a long-term ozb'er, I went thru the t&cs but items such as SIS energy gel and hydrate tablets were excluded somehow.
Tried to cancel the order but amazon said it's too late as they are about to be shipped.

    • Just beat your PBs with those items bro.

  • +1

@tightarse there is "Prime Savings Save $5 promo code: OCCAU5" on a lot of the product page. Will apply this void the cashback?

    • -1

Prime Savings Save $5 promo code: OCCAU5" on a lot of the product page.

I think they will base on the final price after promo code, correct me if I am wrong.

      • Just checked my last order, the purchase amount showed on their site, were the amount after all promo applied.

    • Is that the when you checkout with a VISA creditcard?

  • +1

If I click $5 for Visa card promo will this void cashback?

    • Would be nice to know this too

      • Don’t think that applies as it eventually ask us to key in that promo code for visa so the cash back will be waived so I didn’t use

  • Is it still eligible when I pay Amazon Gift card?

    • +1

"Note: payments made with Amazon gift cards are eligible for the bonus."

      • +1

GC is OK, not courtesy credit.

  • Can I do two different separate orders n get $5 cb twice ?

    • +1

Unfortunately not. In the post description:

      1. Only one TopCashback.com.au account per person is allowed, and the bonus cashback is limited to one per TopCashback member.
  • Love TCB, best deals! I'll jump on this as well. Keep em coming. Thanks.

  • -1

Mine didn’t track. It has been over an hour.

    • +2

Check tomorrow as Amazon tracks the next day only.

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

      • +1

        Good to know. Thanks

  • I have the $5 credit for using PAYID as default payment with Amazon, and I don't think there's anyway of making it go away, does that count as Amazon Credit and therefore I can't use this cashback?

    • +3

That would count as Amazon credit so not eligible for this bonus.

Are you able to "untick the Promotional credit box" at the checkout page under Payment method > Your available balance? I was able to do this for other credits. If not, you could spend the $5 credit before doing this cashback.

      • +1

I'll check that out . thanks

  • Just to confirm I have Gift card balance of $20, can I use that and get this cashback as well. I read the point 14. says it should be okay but reading point 19, I am confused.

    • +2

Payment with Amazon gift cards and/or Amazon gift card balance is fine.

      • Can i use APP10 Code?

      • Thanks TA.

  • Does Kindle paperwhite qualify for cashback?

  • +1

@tightarse does this stack with Prime Savings Save $5 on orders $59 or more promo code: OCCAU5. Discount by Amazon?

    1. Second and subsequent Subscribe & Save orders (only first Subscribe & Save orders are eligible).

Stupid question time - is this only for the second Subscribe & Save order on the same product, or for any product?

If I place two Subscribe & Save orders for separate products, would that be eligible?

As in, I S&S to Product A and then I also S&S to Product B to get my cart over $25.00, and then checkout with both in my cart together?

    • As long as there isn't a Subscribe & Save currently on that item.

Cashback is eligible if you had previously Subscribe & Save on the same item but had cancelled the Subscribe & Save subscription.

When you Subscribe & Save again on that item, it would be considered as "first" Subscribe & Save for cashback.

As in, I S&S to Product A and then I also S&S to Product B to get my cart over $25.00, and then checkout with both in my cart together?

I usually add both items to cart at full price (without S&S), then change to S&S before the final payment page. Otherwise you may not be able to do a combined order with S&S for cashback.

      • Ta mate! Thought that may have been the case, but just wanted some confirmation.

  • New to TCB (always think of Kramer when I hear that acronym), how long do they normally take to track?

    • +1

      Helloooo Jerry!

Amazon tracks the next day. Will be tomorrow.

Don't buy from Vandelay Industries. It may not track.

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts (Amazon tracking is not instant).

Did topcashback break their referral code? Looks weird.

    • Not sure what you mean?

      • If you try to refer someone, does your code look normal?

        • +1

Yep. Tested numerous times and looks fine. Way to test it is to log out of TCB then paste your referral link into a browser and see if your username shows at top of screen. You need to be logged out however. Let me know how you go.

Edit: you may get ?source=App-iOS-TAFPage or similar appended to the URL. This is fine.

          • @tightarse: Thank you for testing that! I have now discovered the root cause of my symptom.

Ie. My code looks really weird because my username itself is really weird.

But the code also looks to have been changed from the format used in the past. Which added to my initial suspicions.

  • Are purchases from Amazon japan (via Amazon AU of course) eligible for bonus cashback?

    • Amazon Japan should be fine, provided the purchase is made through Amazon AU. I checked with TA previously.

      • +1

Thanks. I’ll make my purchase now :D

  • Dangit, so does '16' mean that a Metroid Prime 4 preorder won't be eligible cause it comes out in December?

  • Hi, tight arse, when I press activate there is no confirmation on the screen like cash rewards used to have. I have pressed it a few times today. It just comes with a blank page showing my $50 referral code balance which I haven’t redeemed . Is it enough just to press activate from your email. Or do you need to see a confirmation on the screen?

Oh, ignore that. When I press activate from the website, it works. It just doesn’t work from my email link.

  • so it tracked my click but not the purchase…

    • +1

      so it says

Amazon tracking typically takes 1-7 days to report into accounts

      • ill keep everyone updated

  • For unknown reasons Amazon split my payment charge into 2, both under 25. Only one charge has been tracked. Fingers crossed the full amount gets picked up.

    • Did one of them have a delayed shipping date? Amazon only charge when they ship it unless you use gift card I think?
