    Superloop 500/50 is $75, 1000/100 $85 for 6 months. What am I missing?

ABB since going public have become money hungry. They were the underdog that i didnt mind paying $5 more originally but now……

    Better deals elsewhere.

    500/50 $85/m or 1000/100 $99/m ongoing @ Buddy Telco (Aussie BB network).
    500/50 $85/m or 1000/100 $105/m ongoing with a Static IP @ Neptune Internet.
    500/50 $75/m or 1000/100 $85/m for 6 Months (New Customers) @ Superloop.

    500/50 $79.95/m for 12 Months (New Customers) @ Leaptel.
    nbn FTTN/FTTC to FTTP upgrade: 500/50 $69.95/m, 1000/100 $89/m or 2000/200 $145/m for 12 Months (New and Existing Customers) @ Leaptel.
nbn HFC 2000/100 or FTTP 2000/200 $155/m for 12 months for New Customers ($165/m ongoing) @ Leaptel.

    • How does there pop location, latency around the world conpare?

Just switched from ABB to Superloop's $85 for 6 months offer, No change in the service at all.

Watch out for SL 1 month notice on cancellation

    • Thank you for reviewing my particular user scenario.
      Appreciated :)

Wait for Black Friday for ABB deals!

Yeah not many reasons to go with Aussie any more, credit where credit is due they changed the industry when they came out with a brand new offering of full aussie support and an incredible network. Now others have caught up

    • Yeah Aussie BB is not worth it for these speeds.

nbn FTTP 500/200, 1000/400 and 2000/500 pricing is competitive @ Aussie BB but that's about it.

Agree, been with ABB few years. Now on 1000/400 $150 with static IP. Not too bad. But their 2000 plans too pricey and no need atm. Good with upload as running plex server and family got access. At least no transcoding anymore.

im waiting on a epic 2000/200 deal.
i upgraded by modem to a eero pro 7 found a brand new one for $150 on fbmp

    I am paying $85 for 1000/100…

  • +7

Sorry but the whole "their support is really good though" doesn't cut it anymore, these prices aren't competitive at all.

    • +1

theres 0% reason to be with aussie

These offers are an absolute joke.

Really Aussie? What is this spam

    Better deal at Superloop.

  • Who needs all Australian support when NBN just works? The only contact I've had with a provider in the last 5 years is with their retention team trying to get a better price…

    • their retention team is overseas

      • Aussie BB has all AU call centres.

      • +2

I've not tried ABB, certainly Superloops are overseas and have no interest in keeping customers from my experience

        • They kept me on $99 for 1000/100 for 12 months pretty easy. And said I can cancel and rejoin if there’s someone else living in the same address

  • I don't get how this deal or any of the other deals from Superloop or Dodo are better than Exetel's $80 flat rate for 500/50 plan. I switched to Dodo a few months ago on a $85 for 6 month offer only to be told 1 month in that the price will be going up. Switched to Exetel and no complains so far.

  • No discount for customer loyalty, not cheaper than the competition who are also of a decent quality. Will be churning away, hope they can turn it around.

    • suspect they are happy to lose a few, look at how many are on Telstra & never move despite the crazy prices

  • I just signed up for their $1 first month deal (now on 500/50) but geez, they're pretty delusional with those higher tier prices… The $10 off is pretty much always active and this is worse than the recently ended $1 for first month.

    • does their app let you schedule a service cancellation?

      • No but it's fairly simple over the phone and quicker to cancel than Buddy..

  • don't see 2000/100 on the ABB site? Only 2000/200 which is only available for FTTP, I'm on HFC

    • nbn HFC 2000/100 is on there.

      1. Go to where it says Select your nbn plan.
      2. Click on All.
      3. Scroll on the plans until the end.
