        From most reviews c8k was better
        I was so close to buying the bravia 5 but i got turned off from the gaming side of things

        c8k will destroy it in every aspect. Bang and olufsen speakers, premium qd mini led, 3 year warranty. Only thing that sony has is there processor. Best on the market for software and overall picture processing. But, TCL slaps it anyday.

      The price you linked is either an ATL or near that.
      I think the ideal goal is to get your target price near that price.

      I feel it will eventually drop down again once we near black Friday or even end of year, so long as you can hold out till then.

          hahah yep, it is a bit of a cycle.

          G6 should be about March release - Then a substantial discount around mid year.

          ATM I am happy to still purchase a G5 by year end, however if i end up at late Jan - Feb without a G5, I'll wait until mid year.

          Assuming my Current OLED doesn't die until then.

          Are you ready to pull that trigger if it is available at a great price?

            @lyychee: Yeah if it gets lower than the previous JB perks deal then I think i'll pull the trigger. Can't remember what the exact price was then but i remember it was tempting.

            Ideally i would want a 77" but the jump in price is insane. My current TV still works fine so I'm happy to wait like yourself.
