Not much to say really other than this is a great calibration app on offer from THX.

Used it briefly to set up the projector at work. I think this will be great for home use.

    Unless you have a way to generate white and pink noise through the speaker system you are trying to configure, a sound level meter app would not do you any good at all imho.

    A very interesting idea for an app, and implemented well. I used the app via Apple TV and found out my display was already set up perfectly, but it was good to make sure!

      Option A: AirPlay via Apple TV.

      Option B: HDMI using a Lightning or 30 pin to Digital adapter. (Preferred method, since AirPlay mirroring doesn't support 5.1)

      Option C: AirPlay via PC/Mac running AirServer, hooked up to TV.

      I plugged my Macbook Pro into my TV via HDMI, installed the free trial of AirServer, and then mirrored my iPhone to that and it worked fine.

    Good idea, will test it soon and see how it compares to the calibration DVD I purchased 3 years ago for $20.

      Just tried it and it gave me a picture much more vivid than my calibration DVD. Probably ok for a movie setting but not for normal tv). Still - can't beat free!
