just a quick caveat – you have to give the tail a good wash to get the veet off which'll make your stock really bitter and weird tasting

yes exactly but if you're not careful to adequately wash the tail before tossing it in the pot the veet will leave your stock with an overpoweringly bitter, chemically taste
it's not like a herbal bitterness either, i had to bin the first batch and manxify my other mog remembering to wash the tail thoroughly!

without thorough washing the chemicals in the veet taint the stock to such a degree it is virtually inedible. if you choose to ignore my good faith warning you are putting yourself at risk of a very unpalatable meal at best.

i use this on my mog so folks think i have a sphynx (also lobbed his tail off making him appear to be a manx sphynx)
tail makes for a surprisingly good stock too
