Opposite experience. I got this and it kept bugging out. Logi software is also really bad. The usual Logitech webcams are even better than this.

What software do you need for a webcam? I just plug it in and it works, no need to install any software
Do you mean Logitech's Capture software? Yeah that software uses unusually a lot of CPU resources with the 'centre staging', etc. I use Geforce Broadcast though and it improves image quality over Teams/Zoom with no softening. It does require a Geforce GPU for that though.
I have also had this webcam for around one year and it has been excellent for video conferences. A great addition to my Mac mini M4.
I had issues using it in a conference room as the autofocus would constantly put it out of focus. Seems to work well at close range though. Switched to a cheaper fixed focus camera for the conference room.
I am not a huge fan of g hub, but logi tune is decent for managing this webcam. I've had good experiences. Only issue is lack of windows hello support.
I went with the Logi 920c from Aliexpress, it's older but proven.

I had one that died after about 3 years. Worked pretty well, but did make me look quite red on my locked down work computer where it was difficult to use software to correct.
I got one for $58 at Officeworks. They're currently under clearance, but individual store pricing might be different. Stock very limited naturally.

I paid for this the other day, just got notified that they're refunding the purchase due to a pricing error. First time using digidirect and last time…
They cancelled and refunded the order… again. This is the second time it’s happened with digiDirect.

Have been using this webcam throughout my WFH career and it has been very good. While the webcam is terminated via USB-C, you can still adapt it into USB-A. Works on Teams, Zoom, whatever with no issue. The catch is your hub or USB source needs to have a good stable USB power. Also no issue streaming 1080p at 60fps over USB-A 5Gbps for me too.
