This is a good price for a quality portable & collapsible kettle. I purchased one for double this price a few months ago and can recommend it for car camping or hiking.

Also available from Wild Earth for the same price if you don't have Prime, live in SE QLD, or just prefer to support a smaller business!

  • Portable pooper!? Sold

  • Thanks. I already have a 3 litre pot, this would be great as something more usable sized. I'm sure it can be used as a pot and carefully as a small fry pan as well

  • OOS at Amazon

  • Review from Dean has a photo of the HYD brand collapsible drink tumbler fitting inside the kettle when they are both collapsed. Looks like a good combo.

    Thank you @topherboi

Wild Earth stuff is also typically available at Everyday Market:

  • Anyone have something similar, do you get funny taste from the silicon leeching into the water?

    • +1

I have their collapsible pot - I can't discern any taste from it. Just ordered this kettle from Wild Earth

      • Good to know. Thanks.

    • I've used both the X Kettle and X Pot - there's no change to the taste of the water

The silicon itself is not fireproof, so just be careful the heat setting isn't set to high to allow the flames to wrap over the base onto the silicon

This is has large amounts of plastics, nylon and fire retardants.
It might be convenient but I think it would create a soup of chemicals and micro-plastics when used, that may not be tasteable.

    • Wouldn't these be solely on the outside to prevent fire damage when being heated?
