  I would imagine most people aren't going to bother taking the risk of booking with a third-party travel agency for a measly 3% off. Might want to rethink your advertising strategy.

  Travel agent margins aren't great. 0-1% on flights. This is one area where they can make a reasonable though not great return. There's still probably a fair amount of manual paperwork to be done, which doesn't come for free. Then you have to advertise to get clients. Advertising to a bunch of OzMisers who would climb over each other to save 5 cents is probably not a short-term or long-term way to generating business.

  1. A simpler process
  2. A worthwhile discount. 3% isn't enough to even get people to click on your ad.
