Tineco is a lot better than WashG1. The G1's build quality is terrible. Check the reviews before going in blindly to see whether you'll be happy with its performance, but suppose you are getting it close to free with the Gen5detect.
We have the mop and it's alright, it's got a tray under it so it can be used without vacuuming first. Tray catches all the hair and small bits and bobs.
Main issue is the water tank is small, more suited for a apartment or house with some rooms being carpetSame. Works for us - apartment.
Fill tank, mop bathrooms and floorboards.
Refill tank and run roller cycle.
Remove tray, rinse.
Done.What water setting are you using?
Personally I think level 1 is more than enough (maybe level 2 in wet areas), as i add some floor cleaner also, and that easily does a 3 bedroom house.

Crazy that people here are acting like $1000 for a mop and a vacuum is an incredible deal.
It is good for Dyson prices, but you're definitely paying for the brand VS. Value for money.
I guess but the Wash G1 has been free falling in price. I’d say its current value is 400 and that will be 300 in less than 6 months.
There have been some occasional deals for the gen5detect bringing it down close to 700.
Not saying this still isn’t a good deal; but something to consider.

That wet mop is literally a wet mop, absolute junk.
