Liquid bleach is pretty thin and runny; this is a bleach gel that clings to surfaces for longer. There are generic alternatives like this 1.25L for $2.50.
Seems that this and the equivalent at aldi is also stronger than the product OP posted.
So? Sounds like their marketing speak for an unnecessary product.
Bleach, or vinegar + squirt of dish soap is just as effective.
This comment is now a FIY to the world, that all cleaning products are a capitalist invention.
They guilt you into thinking you NEED it.
You just need vinegar and dish soap. Chuck it in a spray bottle and away you go.
Bench tops, toilets, floors, anything around the house.
Liquid chlorine would be even better value.
I prefer this which is chlorine gel.

But only issue is that it does not have a necl bottle.
Does this foam? as White King would.
No foam. But I'm happy with the cleaning performance.
Does this foam? as White King would.
Does this White King foam? The last White King one I bought didn't.
Does this foam? as White King would.
I have White King, I don't think they foam.
Thanks got two. Much cheaper than Colesworth and better than comparison branded / home brand products.
In which way do you mean better? The bottle itself and the smell? It's not as strong as some of the other generic gel bleaches
I felt this was stronger than other alternatives, such as the duck brand and regular bleach
Could be bias as I use all of their other cleaning products. YMMV
These are basic (ha) cleaners that rely on the same active ingredient to do the cleaning, i.e. sodium hypochlorite. They'll work as well as each other assuming the same style (e.g. a gel) and concentration. This White King one is actually less powerful than the generic woolies one at 2.4% m/v vs 5% m/v.
Freshness is a factor too; sodium hypochlorite is inherently unstable so they lose effectiveness over time. If you compared a brand-new bottle of White King to an older bottle of a different brand, the White King could appear more effective when it's actually the freshness that's the difference. The bottle will have a use-by date to help determine its effectiveness.
@eug: Thats interesting. Stayed away from the generic one because of the bottle - hard to use it affectively as a toilet cleaner. But I reckon I am gonna top off my next Toilet Gel bottle with this and see how it goes.
I concur. Duck cleans Duck all! I found White King to be better than most cleaners including Harpic.
Thanks! Ordered 2, total cost $0 Thanks to Amazon support ✌️
A previous order for USB C cables never arrived and was marked lost in transit, spoke to live chat, they refunded me entirely and provided a account credit for the inconvenience!
My delivery just got lost in transit too for the first time ever. bizarre. are drivers pocketing the items??
If so, I would say a few deactivated delivery drivers!
Back in stock, just ordered one.

I use this, it's a bit cheaper and cleans just as well.
How do you use it/apply it when cleaning?
Exactly the same as the White King one in this 'deal'.
Just squirt it around the rim of the toilet at the top, then use the toilet brush to scrub it all around the bowl. Leave for 5-10 mins then flush.

Liquid Bleach 2.5L for $2.09, much better value.
