    Just had one too. It's good but nothing great. Although you can't expect much for 5 bucks these days :P
    Probably would've preferred to fork out an extra dollar and get the 2 rippas from Red Rooster. :)

    can't complain for $5. Asked for drink to be replaced with an extra wing. Ended up getting 3 wings and the drink… the crispy strip was nothing fantastic… why can't they use the same mayo as they do with the zinger?

    Tried the KFC @ Myer Centre Brisbane - surprisingly it didn't have the Drink included ($1 extra option). Plus the chicken (sub) was smaller

    Can anybody from QLD/Brisbane please confirm if the drink is not included in other QLD/Brisbane stores?

      Yes. I went to the Cleveland store, definitely comes with no drink but only 1 dollar for the 375 ml drink upgrade.

    haha you can guarantee whenever one of these deals is posted, some dude will come here and preach their ideals to everyone, yet no one will listen and its just a waste of his/her time. Its still funny though, I'd tell you guys to stop preaching to others on how to live their lives, but you'd miss the point. :)

    mine came with a 250ml can, but I still thought it was value. It is more potato than chicken though.

    Another favourite of mine is the $5.95 chicken combo (2 piece chicken, reg chips and drink). Although it's off the menu now, you can just mention to the staff. Have tried in multiple locations in Melbourne. No hassle!

    The food is too small. I had to eat 2 of these meals so it ended up costing me $10. Bargain deception.

      I haven't gotten one so I wouldn't know, but seems like it would fill me up. There's a decent about of carbs- bread, chips, mash potato.

    Stopped going to Maccas as a family treat. Find Maccas is like 5 stars gourment on price. KFC kids meal is better - bottle juice /water instead of cup, 4 instead of 3 chicken nuggets, chips instead of fries (?less fat). Also no need to recycle the plastic 'promo' - would not call it a toy. Generally, I find better customer service elsewhere than Maccas.

        Visited KFC today to order a kids meal. The bottle of GC OJ / water is now substituted by a little pack of ?? space gel. Not happy Colonel.

    I got one of these two weeks ago when they first came out. There was tomato in the roll. Hasn't happened since unfortunately.

    Love these meals, 50c uprade to full size can, 50c upgrade to swap wing for another crispy strip.

    Best meal ever from KFC

    This is such a good deal, you could ask for it minus chips (nobody can leave them on the tray :)
    and still get a good deal with a filling meal and reasonable calorie count.

    Went to the local KFC, apparently they don't have this anymore and haven't had it for a few weeks now.
