Unfortunately no 10% S&S discount this time.
Unfortunately no Macadamia Shortbread.
Never ordering food stuff or vitamins off Amazon again.
Always not far off bb date.
Bought lynx deodorant early this year had a manufacturing date 2020 -21
Once got a few boxes of Carmen bars past the best before date
Has me worried how long stuff is being stored.
But major credit to Amazon. whenever this happens and I call them I always get a refund, no question.
Mainly buy toilet paper and paper towels now
Mainly buy toilet paper and paper towels now
Be sure to check the expiration date on those too!
Big yes
These are delicious. Just wish they had a low(er) sugar version available as they’re OTT sweet..
I've only ever tried the white chocolate and macadamia ones, and keep buying it because they're moreish….however this time I want to try something else - what else would you guys recommend?
They were great at $1.25 and $1.50
The good old days…4 years ago :(
These are about the size of 20c piece roughly, the coles ones you linked are a lot bigger. Both are good.
Try white chocolate and macadamia 🥰
Coles Bakery Indulgent Choc 40% choc chip cookies seem nicer than the Byron Bay choc cookies.
Byron Bay macadamia shortbread cookies are better than the plain Coles shortbread cookies.
Cripps Tasmanian shortbread cookies seem better than Byron Bay macadamia shortbread. Now $4.50 (on sale) at Woolworths.
Cripps Tasmanian shortbread cookies seem better than Byron Bay macadamia shortbread.
I haven't tried Cripps but Walkers would be better than Cripps purely looking at ingredient list. If on sale might pick up one of each and try them side by side for a taste test!
Walker's Christmas edition cookies which are now available to purchase are better than Cripps. However the regular Walker's cookies in the small packet that you can buy all year are not as nice as the Christmas ones.
I find Duncan's of Deeside cookies better than Walker's: https://www.duncansofdeeside.com/gallery
They used to be sold at TK Maxx but not recently. They have plain and other types of shortbread cookies.
@trixieb: Found these from Aldi, pretty good https://www.aldi.com.au/product/bisko-bakehouse-macadamia-sh…
@trixieb: It never occurred to me how much of a big deal shortbreads is in the UK until I followed the rabbit hole. Fascinating stuff and happy Sunday :)
What about the Aldi version shortbread? Have you had them? The ingredients look similar to Walker’s.
I've only had the Aldi shortbread cookies in the Christmas tin which look the same. They were a nice alternative to Walker's. I would still choose Walker's Christmas edition over Aldi.
Compare the ingrediants between the two, I know which I'd be picking.
That was unexpected. I thought Coles bakery would use fewer ingredients since they are made fresh in the shop. Need major updates to my common sense.
Simple rule for those unaware: Any product with “Byron Bay” in the name is usually a red flag.
Wondering why?
Mmmmmm 🍪
Grab a 12 pack of water too while you’re there these are the driest cookies I have ever eaten
Probably because the main ingredient is flour instead of sugar like most cookies.
White Choc Macadamia is my favourite
These used to be good but just feels like eating sugar now. Maybe it's just me.
That's how I feel as well!
Just you
New flavour slaps
I love these cookies 🤤
Add the words Byron Bay and suddenly it’s a luxury item. Am I not wrong.
