It has been a while since Byron Bay cookies are at 1/2 price at $2 from Wed 25th June to Tue 1st July.
Also a new flavour - Banoffee Pie.
That was my first impression too but my family and friends love it. I tried again and the macadamia shortbread is my fave.

They are bite size. Not the full size. That might explain the dry texture, as smaller baked sized foods dry out in the oven and cooling rack quicker.
The ex place I worked had the full sized cookies for $2.60 or was it $3.20 each, depending whom served myself.
One of my fave bikkies. But didn't it to be $1.50 when on sale? Ahh, inflation rears its ugly head again.
Half price deal was $1.25 back in 2021 then $1.50 in 2023 now $2. Inflation or corporate profiteering strikes again.
These were borderline acceptable at $1.
