  • Am I missing something? It's $129 when I go to the deal.

Edit ok I get it now you need everyday rewards #

Woolworths supermarkets have a stash of EveryDay rewards brochures somewhere around the 'service desk'. So when you're in Woolies and you want to take advantage of one of the orange tagged 'members' specials, you grab one of those brochures and scan the bar code on the brochure when you're checking out.

Then chuck the brochure away. You get the deal, they don't get your personal info and history.

Online deals like this one make me think it might be a good idea to grab a fistful of those brochures and bring them home!

      • Or… If you shop at Woolworths, even occasionaly, you might as well sign up!
Took me long enough to do. But they do offer some great specials from time to time, and it gives the petrol discounts!

        • +1

You get those discounts without signing up. Besides, you can see woolies starting to increase the fuel discount which is an attempt to lock your purchasing into both woolworths petrol and woolworths groceries. The cross subsidisation should be banned since it's not transparent to the consumer (too hard to track grocery price changes and to separate those changes from inflation).

FCK em I say. They collect enough of my data without me going and making it any easier for them. It's bad enough that I use a debit card, I'm sure they trace that. The only reason I use a debit card is because I hate carrying coins.

Having said that, I went to coles on the weekend and nearly every product was cheaper than woolworths. Guess where I'll be shopping.

  • edit: OP pointed out that it's a different model I was talking about. Please ignore!
Not quite as good a deal as this one was… http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/84684 , but still pretty good.
It's not a bad little camcorder for it's price. The Mrs loves it!

Are they still doing the $5.oo sign up bonus?

  • +1

They are slightly different cameras. 30 optical zoom vs 10 optical zoom justifies the price difference.

    • Retraction! I looked back to the previous deal and saw the H300 listed again!!! But yeah, it was the Q10 that was cheaper!!!

  • Time to upgrade my old Panasonic SD Camcorder.

  • Looks great, only thing holding me back is 1080i instead of 1080p.

  • Does anyone has the Specs..

anyone else getting the message: "Everyday Rewards offer does not apply to the products in your cart"?

    • Yup. :(

EDIT - dude, you gotta register first before it automatically applies. Do'h!

further $5 discount with coupon code FBDISC5OFF

  • Bought this from DB and it is a functional cheap camcoder/camera. Cheap enough and easy to be used by kids, just point and shoot. If the kids break it, I will buy another one.

  • Great Deal, just bought two. Now I need a deal on some Class 10 memory.

    • +1

I know there's heaps of places around… But www.mymemory.co.uk normally has some great deals!

      • Cheers Snoop :)

  • What's the maximum capacity SD card does this take?

  • All gone.

  • What is the max write speed to the SDHC card of these things? I've searched the manual, Samsung's web site and even sent a request to their support (and received a pathetic no answer reply).
