We allow 90-day change of mind returns on electronic goods.

    2% Annual Reward

A new TV every 3 months and a profit?

    • +8

Theoretically, yes… but have you ever returned anything to Costco? It's one person in a corner area for return, mostly unattended, takes you good 2 hours, and by the end, you will regret stepping in there at the first place.

      • Never had an issue at rtms maybe wait 10 mins max

Costco was selling a display model of a $900 screen for $250, the display was missing a cable and they couldn't sell it to us. Their solution? Give us a brand-new in box for the same $250.

      Costco really is that bitch.

      • +3

The way you have worded it, I can't really figure out if you are praising them or no lol. So you got a $900 TV for $250?

        • Yeah basically

        • +2

What a bargain, if your not happy, i will give you $250 for it with no box

    • +11

Dimming zones are relative to screen size. 1344 dimming zones is more than acceptable for a 65"

      • I'd say that it's acceptable at this price point. But ideally would want more

    fuaark good deal

bought the 65" C7K for a bit more than this and its an incredible TV

    • -1

Same, my only gripe is it logs you out of Google randomly and wants you to confirm account, and it gets a lot hotter than Samsung TVs

  • Excellent price for what is still an excellent panel. 38 in stock at the time of this post.

  • This one or the 65" C7K? I missed the C7K sale for $999.99 a couple of months ago.

    • +3

Wait for that to come back on sale if you can

    • CK7. Why? Google it.

  • I want this in the 75

  • +1

The C855 is exceptional! I have the 85" and it is such incredible bang for buck.

  • +1

Bought one. I'd all but given up hope of finding a C855 in stock. I was looking at the C7K in 75", but waiting for it to drop back to ~$1500 like a few weeks ago.
I can live without the extra 10"…….famous last words.

    • +4

The 75" C8K could be had for around $1600 after $500 visa gift card a few weeks ago. I would wait for black friday for similar.

    C7K 65 $1500, only 2 in ringwood vic 7 days ago

    • What's the main diff between C7K and this one for the $500 gap?

        • So c7k is better? Why?

          • +1

@sfac: From the above reddit thread. Everyone said C7K, but no one really explained why. Until this gem down the bottom:
"C855 is brighter as you say but C7k has better contrast due to the new HVA panel. There really isn't any other huge differences otherwise where you can demonstrably say one is the clear winner. They both have the same processor so motion handling and general image processing is going to be more or less the same. If you're planning to use the TV in a bright room then C855 is probably the way to go otherwise the C7k."

  • These are going quick. 23 left at the time of this post. I would get one, if my house wasn't already filled with OLEDs.

    • +1

Same. Once you go OLED, LCDs just don't cut it regardless of backlight technology. Micro LED lit LCDs might change that though.

      • Blooming still exists no matter how many dimming zones they throw at it. As you say though, Micro LED will be the real OLED contender, assuming it even makes it into the consumer market.

dont forget to update the firmware of the TV - the one i got was stuck in the stone ages in terms of configuration + had some terrible motion judder

https://t.me/tclupdates is where you can get the latest, although a few versions people stay on due to stability

    • What would happen if the latest update turned out to be a did, can you change back to the older firmware? Or do just have to wait for another new update that should be better?

    • I've tried to use this bot before and checking it just now it hasn't changed. I cannot figure out how to navigate it. It asks way too much that isn't just "what's the model of the tv you have". Not trying to knock your link, it's the place to go, but I don't know how to utilise the resource.

  • C7K vs C855

    Crystal Glow HVA vs HVA?

Have this but in 75", terrific bang for buck sub $1000

Picked it up off marketplace for $600 earlier this year.

  • Wow prices dropp fast. Bought the 65C755 for $1200 earlier this year on sale. This is a great deal

    • 6855 held its price pretty decently. Bought this for 1900 a year ago. good tv

  • My 11 year old LG has tanked. It did that a few months ago and me being tightarsed, got it repaired for $330. Its gone again. Not doing that anymore. But I was wanting bigger than 65". Wait for black friday?

    • yeah HODL

    • DIY. Parts probably under $100 from Aliexpress

  • If only this was available at 85"

  • +1
