      I just meant the rest was the same as every other cheap TV. Do you really need to be told it has a remote control?
      (and it was quite hard to read, but poster since fixed the formatting.)

  For something like a TV that's on for a couple of hours a day, it's probably better to spend an extra $150 or so and buy a decent energy one wouldn't it?

    Not really, because it is only on for a couple of hours per day the difference would be negligible. It's items like your fridge that run all day that make the difference.
