Possible price error- listed as $179 but with a 50% saving on the Blink Outdoor 4 (2 Pk) - which includes the Sync Module 2 which is $59 by itself.

In the checkout a $130 'Label Discount' is applied = $49

This is a budget camera, but to have a two-camera setup that you can chuck a thumb drive in for a less featured but cheaper than subscription setup for $49 is a steal.

    I saw the post as soon as it was posted and checked a few reviews and saw many complaining about battery life. I am not sure why so many people are buying this with such an overhead. May be I am missing something.

    Can I use my tons of Ikea Rechargeable batteries in this or do I need a special charger for the lithium battery that comes with it?

      They look like AA (lithium), no reason why you can't then replace with Laada NiMH - they just need replacing more often. Even if it's only every 6-12/12, I don't see it as a pain.

        Yeah I have so many Laada sitting around from previous ozbargain deals im happy to replace the batteries every 6-12 months its not a huge effort plus gives a chance to clean the camera lens etc.

        Saw posts online saying NiMH batteries don’t work, only some Lithium do. Something about the camera needing the full 1.5V

    Without subscription, it's quite useless in terms of detection as I have to click on each clip one at a time to check. Still good as a backup.

      Would be terrible for a dash cam, it's motion activated not 24/7 recording and the motion detection doesn't work behind glass.

      Yes, and can store footage on a thumb drive inserted into the module.

      The Ozbargainer ploy is to just use live view without a subscription and if you ever need the footage resort to the thumb drive.

      On that note, any thumb drive deals???
