From scotty: some "OzBargain exclusive coupons" that I have received from Lenovo which I thought wasn't good enough to warrant their own post. However some might find them useful:

    Damn. Got beaten again.

    • At least not got beaten for first comment ;)

      • Yeah normally Lenovo would send me the coupons in advance. Yesterday they sent me some average OzBargain "exclusive" deals instead of this, and I was hesitated to post them because they actually aren't that good.

Anyway I'll add those coupons to this deal and see whether anyone wants to use them.

        • Thanks for the edit!

        • just means they dont take ozbargain seriously

      @Scotty
      To miss one Lenovo deal may be regarded as a misfortune;
to miss two looks like carelessness.

Oh How the mighty have fallen! *jokes

Time to put the father of Ozbargin out to pasture as his children of bargins take over

  • Scotty - you are getting older…beaten up second time in last 2 weeks….lol

    • +1

No need to mention "getting older" especially around Chinese new year :)

      • haahaahaha…….

  • Last time, I bought my X230 with ips screen 500G hard drive and gobi3000 and two years warranty for only $690 AUD

  • I need a new laptop, preferably X1, but only when it has 30% or more discount. Have to wait …

  • looks like lenovo have made a mistake… Have a look at the price of the X1 Carbon

1188 on the main page.. Click on the deal it then becomes 697… 697 FOR AN X1 Carbon!!! This is cheaper than what I paid for a Lenovo EDGE

Throw in the best i7 Processor in from the customizable menu and the X1 Carbon is still less then 900 bux.

Is this a pricing error or what?

    • i think it has been noticed and has gone back up past $1k again.

however, both the "ThinkPad 14W Ultrabook Topload & Small Sleeve Set - Black" and "Lenovo Slim USB Portable DVD Burner" are only an additional $1 each

    • I Bought one at $697!!! Got comfirmation email!!

      • +1

        Lucky you!

X1 Carbon is $1,188 on linked page, but after clicking through it's now $1,276.30?!!

"Year of Snake" -> I guess it's meant sneaky pricing.

        • Tried to contact Lenovo to add "ThinkPad 14W Ultrabook Topload & Small Sleeve Set - Black" and "Lenovo Slim USB Portable DVD Burner" for $2, they would not let me.

        • not to worry, you've saved quite a bit with the laptop already

laptop sleeve, laptop bag & usb dvd burner is probably only another ~$70-150 if you purchase elsewhere

        • +1

I guess it's meant sneaky pricing

More like Snakes and Ladders pricing.
One minute you're up on a good deal, the next minute you're down.

      • i hope they don't rescind the deal. I believe lenovo have been known for doing that for price errors. You definitely got a bargain though.

Let us know if you actually get one for that price

BTW: Here are screenshots for the price (error) and correct?? price

        Incorrect: http://i.imgur.com/2bVfDAy.png
        Correct??: http://i.imgur.com/X4BKjb5.png

From 1000 dollar saving to 400. Should neg the deal ;)

      • goodluck!
