  • Does Aldi post to WA? We dont have one here.

  • Love my colour changing egg, highly recommended

Do you realise that these went on special on Wednesday 30th January, i.e. over a week ago?

Now, depending upon the popularity of an individual item, they can sell out on the first day and in some cases the first 10 minutes after opening. So traveling any distance on the off chance that there are any left needs to be considered carefully!

For eevee888 - No Aldi do not post anything, you have to shop in store.

yes - there were quite a few when i bought mine yesterday

Now, depending upon the popularity of an individual item they are likely to have sold out on the first day and in some cases the first 10 minutes after opening.

such as http://aldi.com.au/au/html/offers/2827_25277.htm which is what i was seeking :(

      • That's fine then, but some people may be unaware of the process and may be disappointed that there is none. Usually people point to Aldi specials before they go on special or as manager's markdowns etc.

Someone maybe lucky and in need of one, thanks for pointing them out. Have you used it yet and does it work as stated??

        • Have you used it yet and does it work as stated??

          yes of course :)

        • I've been using the colour change egg timer now for a few years and it has been consistently accurate ONCE you work out where the colour change suits what you want. For example, with 700g dozen egg size, the medium setting gives hard boiled eggs and for soft yokes the setting between soft & medium is spot on.

700g dozen free-range egg size: medium = soft-boiled/half-cooked for me

btw to tell if an egg is raw, spin it :)

        • Yes they are awesome but it has to be at the same starting temperature as the eggs (ie if they are in the fridge it has to be too)

        • huh? why the neg? or did you mean to click +?

  • Bugger - just paid $10 for a colour change egg timer! And yes once you calibrate it to your taste in eggs it is terrific.

  • I'm 'eggs'tatic about this deal.

  • i thought reject shop selling that egg timer as well

  • Well I was out and about today and went to Aldi, low and behold 2 colour changing egg timers!! Still one at Heidelberg Vic, if anyone is interested (as at 1pm Sunday 10th). So now I have one to try out.
