  Bought some last month.
  Did a "stocktake" at home.
  Currently have close to 22kg of protein so gonna relax for a while lol.

      and i'm not even the type to go overboard on the stuff. maybe 2 x 30g serves a day.
      some of it is weight gainer stuff, but I only use a quarter quantity per serve.
      If i take 60g per day, it will last exactly 1 year.

      Wish I was a BEEFCAAAAAAAAAAAaKE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  It's a tough one. It's only slightly cheaper than the last deal, and you need to buy 8KG of the stuff. I know personally I didn't enjoy it, and there's been a few people in the other thread who thought the same.

  Full props to VP for the discounts, but if you are particular about flavours you might be better of asking for a sample first.

  Some people said the raw unflavoured was no good last time. I'm quite used to unflavoured protein so can anyone comment if it was particularly worse than normal?

  The other brands of unflavoured (with water) I've tried don't taste bad, in fact, they don't taste like anything at all really (maybe a bit like raw flour).

      Watermelon flavoured protein.. good luck with that! Raw unflavoured NZ WPC for me, cheaper than this on ebay for smaller amounts and if I feel like some flavour a bit of honey and flaxseed oil will do nicely.

        Yeh I am feeling a bit mental… I reckon as long as you put it out of your mind that protein shake is not a milk based milkshake your all good…

        I actually don't hugely care what the flavour is I just slam it down the gullet… But saying that I should have just gona Natural then hey ? Less crap in it.

  Awesome, almost out of ON whey and was thinking of trying one of these cheaper local brands. But 8kgs?… great price for it but is also a fair gamble to get this considering I havnt tried it before (that, and ON tastes awesome!). Decisions..

  I bought the chocolate in the last deal. Flavour was ok and mixed ok.

  It was indicated that the protein would be "in date" till Dec 2013. However, the protein arrived with an expiry date of june 2013 - 5 months to use 4KG! - This is not what i expected and have contacted them twice with no response. This may not be an issue for you based on your consumption. No scoop was provided either.

      Strange they would make multiple mistakes with the labels but it's a good thing if they were willing fix it for you!

      Thats what i thought too, but even after putting boiling in multiple times the smell still wouldnt go away. Not sure if it was something in the plastic or if mine was a one off, havnt heard anyone else complain so im guessing thats the case… Or im just a big sook.

        I always fill my shaker up with water (right after I use it) to let the trace amounts/small residual protein particles soak into the water and let it be for a couple of hours before I rinse it. Alternatively using a detergent + sponge works very well. If i don't do either, my Gunsmoke SmartShake from vitacost smells like ass as well
