I used to order from VP all the time because of how cheap they are and the customer service. Eventually I thought what is all the hype over these other protein brands and the flavours they had to offer, and IMO after tasting ON and BSN I won't go back to VP…I even still have about 3 KG of Choc just sitting there :P

Personally I can't stand ON flavours. After i slug through the rest of this 5kg bag i unfortunately still have, I'll be going back to generic brands for sure.
If you're getting bored of the protein you're on, just try a different generic brand for a while to keep it fresh.
I've got the choc-honeycomb from http://www.protein4all.com.au/ ,I believe it comes from the same factory as No Bull as they have all of the exact same flavours. Compared to Venom I find the taste is much better. Both Venom and Protein4All mix well and have good ingredients (not a lot of fillers) but lower protein content in Venom as others have pointed out.

coz i wasnt seeing much mass gain so i tried this. and it worked a bit, but so now i just drink the oil and eat the PB, without a shake, and yeh, it really helps me to pack on the mass.

maybe a silly question but I am new to the WPC and WPI products. Looking at the protein content per 100grams, VP are lower then nobull, does this make much of a difference?
4KG of WPI for $105 delivered is cheap.
Pro tip: If you're into saving money on your protein powder, mix skim-milk powder with regular skim milk to boost the protein content. Will run you about $8 per KG.

Depending on what you buy, if you buy 20KG WPC from bulk nutrients it comes to $372 delivered where as buying 20KG WPC from venom protein it will cost you $400 delivered.
The WPI is a very good deal though.
Provided u are not fat or a slow metab I might suggest concentrate would be adequate.
Also in tune with 19.oo-18.5o $*kg being the smartest shopping atm.
NoBullSupplements' WPI93 is $111 for 4kg atm; the "Venom" stuff is about 87.7% protein by weight (for Vanilla) vs 93% (as the name implies) for NBS'.
So on a $/gram of protein basis, Venom would have to be 88/93rds of the price of NBS' - i.e., $104.73.
Thus the only thing that gets this over the line is the free shipping (hence my upvote).
EDIT: should add that for unflavoured WPI, Venom (at 93%) becomes a big winner just on price and the shipping makes it even better.

I've read about Venom Protein , they are cheap but am not quiet sure about taste havent heard great words abt that.

If flavor is what you always look for then you should try the one I just mentioned. I've tried Mango, Choc honey comb and Vanilla , loved them!

using that now (mango flavor) and taste good in summer! I didn't like much the Choc Cherry but some might like it.

These prices don't seem all that much better than what you can get on eBay. I recently bought 4kg of WPC from "pthealth_direct" on eBay for $79 including delivery. Doesn't come with a shaker, granted, but the quality is excellent. Aldi are selling shakers for $3 at the moment.

If you order the unflavored WPI with discount comes to a total of $96.87 not $105 so that's $24.22/Kg for 93% protein which is a bargain if you don't mind having it unflavored.

If you can handle the taste (I don't have an issue with it, and I tend to mix it with a tablespoon of milo anyway), soy protein isolate is 90+ % protein per unit weight, and available on ebay for as low as ~$14 per kilogram on eBay if you buy 4kg+ at a time. For the cheapest source of the most pure protein, SPI is where it's at. :)
Still, this gets a + from me cos it is a great price for Whey protein.
As a male, I'd be avoiding soy products as much as possible.
Evidence varies (inb4 pubmed)… but even the suggestion on phyto-estrogrens and the associated issues of lower testosterone and sperm counts is enough to have me running for the hills.

Soy Protein Isolates are actually quite anti-estrogenic. It is rich something called Daidzein, an isoflavone that is structurally similar to estrogen. This allows it to bind to receptors that would otherwise be taken by other estrogens(which gives you man boobs) such as Estradiol.
I wouldn't recommend women taking it, from memory I believe it was shown to decrease bone mineral density over a period. Though for men it seems to have great results (improved immune system, reduced prostate size etc.)
Additionally, if gaining mass if your goal, Whey Protein Isolates tend to do a slightly better job.
If it was easier to mix in and didn't taste so horrible I'd be using it.

Nice find but code seems to work only if you add a minimum of 2x4kg bags. Also it's not truly 20% off seems like there skimming a few bucks on top.

It's been 6 days so far and nothing.
I live in Sydney and ordered the flavour sample pack. Took about 1 1/2 to 2 days from ordering to arrive. Dunno if this is the same delivery time frame for bigger orders though.
Really disappointed in the product. Bought the coffee flavoured whey. Taste is bs. It's sweet as like vanilla no hint of coffee taste. My previous whey was dymatize elite mocha flavour this is far the best. The worst is that the protein expires in 5 months. Now I got to force myself drinking 3-4 serving of this shit. Anyone else got there's yet can share the disappointment? I will never buy from these guys again. Stick to the well known brands fellows.

No scoop and only 5 months expiry when the it was indicated as 31/12/2013 on the website - bit disappointed about that!

Got mine within 3 days. Cookies n Cream flavour. Pretty happy with it, although only tried it with milk so far. the test awaits after a sesh and i use water. Expiry date is 30/6/13 so im glad i didn't buy 8kgs!
That's pretty shameful about the expiry date. They shouldn't be selling 8kg packages of something expiring so soon. Not unless it is at a greatly reduced price.

I ordered 4kg of this.. Bag damaged on arrival (Poor Quality bag - Will break easily).Emailed Venom advising them of this and took photo's of the bag. They took 4 days to respond and were no help. Tried calling them 10+ times over 2 days with no answer… Had to transfer powder into containers I had lying around at home - Wasted about 500g of protein. Let them know what occured.
They requested I send the powder back and they could replace / refund. I advised I was happy to keep the powder buy requested some compensation for the loss /damage - Nothing offered. I would have to box it up, send it back to them and wait for another shipment to arrive. I could pull my hair out - frustrating writing detailed emails to them getting little to no response.
Decided to wear the loss and give them a review their service deserves - Was dealing with Anna..
I Purchased the Butterscotch Night time protein - little to no taste. Drinkable, but thats it.
