  • These coupons are quite annoying. You can print as many copies as you want and it last for 10 months. Why not just have it as an in store promo? why do you even need to show it? surely just mentioning it should be enough.

Because originally this coupon was for high school students, but i've never unsubscribed from their email system since i finished, so they still send me coupons :)
Still, it's valid for anyone. You dont have to show your student card, and the fine print doesnt specify that you must be a student :)

    • You can fit 10 per A4 page if u lay it up side by side, I would share the template but I did the imposition formatting on the print server software.
      Unfortunately I accidentally printed 10 sheets of 10 coupons… not 10 coupons…

An ice cream restaurant, ha ha. Waiter? Can I get a knife & fork with that?

Good deal. Would be much better & save trees if we could just show the voucher on our mobile devices. Anyone tried?

I've tried with some other BOGOF voucher last year.
They said it should be in paper.
They let me have it anyway :)
So hit and miss with the mobile version I guess. Print it to be safe :D

Don't forget to laugh at Maccas restaurants also. Though one outlet down south is offering dine in with cutlery.

        That's for protection, not etiquette.

Well, McDonald's does at least have waiters. I have waited there on many occasions under the apparent misunderstanding that they were purveyors of fast food.

    • Die softserves bei McDonald's schmeckt besser allround ;P

      • Sie sind so falsch

        • Du hast mich am McDonald's

  • I hope my local BR does not act like a idiot again when I try use coupon.

Had to report him twice to BR head office, got free ice cream for my troubles.

    • So that's a win. Are you sure you hope he doesn't act like an idiot again?

Makes me look bad arguing with the manager in front of other customers for a free ice cream

  • I grabbed three of these cards at TAFE last week.

Op, did you get this in electronic format? I was wondering if a printout will be allowed…..

I just happened to use my card at BR Subi last night.

The cones are $5.90 each. No way I'd pay $12 for two cones. $5.90 is too much as it is, but I wanted to treat my daughter.

Maybe this could be in a special wiki for long term vouchers.

    • Yes, it is in electronic format. The link provided comes directly from the Student Edge promotion.

That's pretty cheap for a "cone".

*Wonders off to see if there's a "DEBargain" for dear daver. Even though he might liv in Australia, if he's a true bargainer he'll compare deals internationally to save 10 cents ;o)
