Price is good, but your description kinda implies that there is a keyboard included - which it's not.

    Atom processor version..
No postage information - Shopping Square usually rips off via Postage.
Also, its exactly the same specs as the Asus Atom from the previous HN and Costco deals that were going for UNDER $500.. no deal in my opinion.

      Normal postage is
      Australia Post eParcel - $9.85
Australia Post eParcel + Insurance Cover - $17.95 …….to Melbourne. that is very reasonable.

Just to note that $100 voucher is to Redeem musics or books from Acer nominated online stores, not $100 cash back.
Please correct me if i am wrong. thank you.

OK.. my bad.. got mixed up between Shopping Square and Shopping Express.

However, my statement around the price still stands.

HN has the equivalent spec Asus ME400C for $492 after the $100 trade in:

          http://www.harveynorman.com.au/asus-vivo-me400c-64gb-tablet.…

        • Acer W510 vs. Asus ME400C - each has their own pros and cons. For me, the keyboard of the Acer which doubles as a second battery, means it wins by a nose for me.

    • Atom is not a disadvantage IMO: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/atom-z2760-power-consump…

Also this isn't Shopping Square, it's Shopping Express!

  • looks fine

  • The price from Acer store is $699 (free shipping)

The final price may be $579

    • You Sir, are my hero.

  • I thought deals had to be live in order for them to be on ozb. Also 20 units only?

Surely this "deal" should be closed?

    • deals doesnt have to be live to be on ozbargain, they have to be confirmed deals to be on ozbargain. Also 10 is the minimum amount of stocks for a deal to be consider a deal (unless it have high price in which this deal qualify both criteria)

  • Deal only lasted an hour, had extremely limited stock and a misleading 'redemption' voucher.
