  How come these are so expensive? What makes a blackberry comparable to a S3 worth $1000? I know it's a new release and it's a blackberry, but apart from that am i missing something in the specs?

    It's because they aren't released here until next month and are selling out quick in countries they are released in, people have sold them on ebay for up to $2,000.00, I guess some are willing to part with so much cash to get things early.

    Having said you wouldn't go wrong with Mobicity for $749 but stock can take a little while, but have heard of people receiving their orders here in Aus already, small amounts of units come in daily.

        You're competing in the Australian market though. I was just checking out prices on your other phones, they are all to expensive. Check out kogan.com.au before you post your next deal and make sure you at least beat there price ^.^ Good luck.

        lol @ rep's comment. Some actual deals would be good though. Your first 3 weren't crash hot and this one isn't either. I'm not sure if you are offering warranty yet, but if you aren't your phone should be considerably cheaper than competitors.

        Should probably work that out before posting a deal. If something did go wrong i'm assuming i would have to send it back at my own cost and i'd probably have to pay the postage to have it sent to me again.

        Lucky for you with your no deals i'm sure no one has bought a phone off you yet. But sometime in the near future if you have good phones, good prices and warranty, your luck might change.

      we would like to see deals, bargains, cheaper prices, good customer service.
      im sure most people here would rather wait a week or so and save $250 than getting it early.
      there is really no point in getting it early unless i have a life threaten illness and this phone can save me

    Actually the Z10 has generally had rave reviews and sell outs and it's only a first gen unit, with updates and even more improvements to come. Since you don't have one, here are some consumer reviews:

    Of course most people will wait until it is released here and more stock comes in worldwide so the price isn't elevated, but that's pre release phones that are popular for you. Ebay is your only other real option to get one of these, apart from preorders that can take a while to ship.

      rave reviews by whom? prob by those who spend more time in suits and in the office and send more emails than text messages.
      imo bb has always targeted business users. i would say bb makes practical phones rather than fun phones

        I understand your opinion relies on things in the past, with BB handsets of the past being some what targeted to business users, however the z10 is a phone for everyone consumer and business or people like me who use it for both.

        Blackberry is still big for business because of its security and its functionality, however if you take some time to look at the Z10 you will see what an amazing smartphone it is, for personal and business use.

        If you take some time to research things, read those reviews and check out Youtube videos you will understand it better :)

  If this is legitly the cheapest place that will ship it NOW then it's a bargain. Huge mark ups for in demand electronics are not new.

  Nexus 4 ASAP sales for example. ASAP sales of Galaxy Note 2 64gb greatly exceeded this price. I'm sure there are more examples.

  It shits me to tears how hard it was to get Galaxy Note 2 64gb at launch. I didn't get it due to lying sellers and price but at least you can actually buy this.
