    no.. all regions work fine for blu-rays. Its only the DVDs that are a problem. Ive had one for two years and it plays all BRs I throw at it.. even german ones :)

        PS3 bluray games aren't region locked.

        Bluray movies are region locked (but many can be found region-free)

      99.9% are. I believe Persona 4 Arena and one other I don't recall are region locked.
