  • picked up one of these yesterday. would have posted the deal myself but thought it might have been a local special. clearly not local if you are in gold coast and i'm in syd.

    • which coles in Syd did you pick one up from? were there any left?

      • +2

Thompsons corner. Perhaps 6 or more left at 6pm weds

        • Eight of them at Coles Kings Cross, BUT they scan as a cordless kettle for $10, no shelf label referring to sammich mekkers either :-(

      • About twenty-five of them left in the Lane Cove, Sydney, NSW store as of an hour ago AND these ones are marked and scan at $4.00. They right in the back left corner of the store.

Mine could only make 11/12 of a sandwich. Do you think it's made by Doctor's Associates, Inc. ?

  • You can't even buy a sanger for 4 bucks!

    • -2

Seems we have useless piece of shite negging for the hell of it. Grow up, grub.

This is the cheapest women deal I've seen in a while…

  • +3

All jokes aside, women are supposed to make sandwiches, that's what they are bread for.

I hope this deal doesn't provoke a crumby attitude with females.

    • +8

Your jokes are stale and unsavoury. Yech.

      • +4

At yeast the puns haven't stopped.

        • +5

If my wife saw me posting these comments on here, I'd be toast!

        • +2

You would then have to butter her up.

        • +4

It's almost Easter - I can't wait for the Hot Cross Puns!

    • +4

Naan, maybe they will be crusty for a while, but they know which side of their bread is buttered, and provided you're never loafing, always bringing in the dough, and getting the occasional raise, it knead not cause them to be leaven.

  • +2

    Spaghetti Jaffles coming up!

  • +2

Seriously, though, at $4, it's almost getting to the point I'd rather throw one out than clean it!

(I know I'm going to environmental hell for even thinking that)

    • +2

You can always offer it via Freecycle

      • +1

        Thanks Reddog888

        Just writing it up now:

Free to good home - Used once only, Coles sandwich maker. And it has been cleaned only one less time than it has been used. Pay now and I'll throw in the dried yet oily cheese still attached

        • You have missed the point for Freecycle!! You have to offer it FREE. My point being that rather than throw it into the waste offer it on a recycling site.

And by the way plenty of people offer broken, incomplete and dirty goods, and …. other people take them because ….. they are FREE.

    • It can go and join all the ones Liz Warne nee Hurley has thrown away.

Negger, I doubt you have the intellectual wherewithal to have understood my comment.

  • +1

That is a bargain. I have always wanted my toasted sandwiches in triangles! My cafe sandwich toaster doesn't do that. Thanks for posting.

    • -1

      You don't have a knife? ;)

      • I do but the toastie gets super hot (melty cheese) and then I have to wash the knife ya know? :)

  • They also have the Stainless Steel Toaster down to $9.

Hope they will drop the coffee machine to $29 like Kmart.

    • They have one for $39

  • +2

I saw a lot of stock at Chatswood Coles, another cheap items include: stainless steel toaster maker $6, handmixer $5, picture link are here: http://goo.gl/AJjXl

    • Toaster maker $6!?

      • Hehe, that's a lot of machinery for $6.

  • Heaps at Epping.

  • I bought one of these for $6… Now I feel ripped off D:
They were marked as "Clearance" at my local Coles though, so I thought it was just a special specific to that store.

  • Same here, I bought a stainless steel toaster from Coles last week, which was on special 50% discount for $12.50, now it's $9.00.
    Feel ripped off too, ;-)

    • which was on special 50% discount for $12.50.

      Highly inflated rrp so
$6 is possible or even less in the next few days (O)

  • They also have stream iron for $6. stainless steel cordless kettle for $9.

    • I never knew you could pan for iron.

  • +1

Beware of this product - it causes addiction to cheese melt sandwiches.

You may also develop cheese melt accessory syndrome - ie putting ham, onions, olives, assorted sauces, left over chicken roast etc with the cheese melt to create semi pizza like sandwiches and then proceed to become addicted to them.

  • $3.50 each from Maroubra Coles. I just bought the last two (1 for home and 1 for work)
