 - I don't understand the point of having a full HD screen and non expandable storage. 32GB will fit 3 1080p movies max, more likely 1-2. Cloud storage is hardly viable what with our data speeds and costs. - Theres a 64GB version aswell, wonder when that will be available… - Hey there, when the 64GB version comes available, we'll put it up online :)

 - anyone know what kind of earphone comes with this phone? - I got beats/htc with mine

 - Apparently this phone has a super magical 4MP camera with 'UltraPixels'. I'm not interested in the phone, but I wonder what this tech is about. - basically just pixels which can absorb more light
 - It's a little better for low light photos. But not as good as the competition for well-lit scenes due to far less pixel-level detail. - See this = http://asia.cnet.com/htc-one-vs-iphone-5-camera-shootout-622… - There is way more detail in the iPhone 5 photos for well lit scenes. E.g. Check the portrait shot (which is a bit over exposed) and look at the pattern on the clothing. It's non-existent on the HTC One. Heck, even for low light, there isn't that much in it. So I personally don't think it's as good as they expected or are marketing it as. There is a balance between detail and pixel quality and for the HTC, they sacrificed too much on the detail IMO.
 - Larger pixels - 2.0µm compared to iPhone/Galaxy's 1.4µm. Greater size means more light (the f/2.0 lens helps a lot too), so better pictures indoors etc. - It also has optical image stabilisation like the Lumia 920, which should further improve your low-light shots. The the whole camera looks really quite good, IMHO.

 - HTC One or Xperia Z…. HTC One or Xperia Z..
Damnit choices, damnit. - From what I understand, speed-wise the HTC demolishes the Xperia. Only advantage the Xperia has is durability. - I think my main concern is more the battery life on the Xperia; hoping the One gets a standard days usage - Yeah I'm waiting for the Xperia Z, any deals on those coming?

 - Sony are late to the party again 2012 processor in a 2013 phone and the quality of the hard alumnium uni body on the HTC looks much better

 - http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=5313&idPhone2=… - I'm in the same boat, not sure what to choose. I like Sony's camera software, but will have to see camera comparisons when they're available.
 - I'm so torn as well, the waterproofness would be a great party trick, and I believe that it looks better, but the htc is $80 cheaper, better battery and probably a better camera.

 - Toooo tempting….
 - These are grey imports, right? How do warranty returns go?
EDIT: Found it… "In most cases, we offer our 1 year Techdot Limited RTB Warranty. This means that outside dead-on-arrival, you must return the product to our address in Melbourne."
 - Does the LTE on this phone work here in Aus?
 - Hi all, we will confirm LTE bands to check whether it's Aus capable. - If LTE works in Aus then you have yourself a customer. Any chance of getting more of the Red Handsets? - I'm pretty sure they aren't going to be selling the Red Handset at launch. http://www.androidcentral.com/no-there-s-no-red-htc-one
 - No worries, will hopefully have a response from our HK team (where we're sourcing the phone) by Monday :) We will post it on the product on our website. - And yes, unfortunately as above, we haven't had much luck with red yet - we'll be right onto it when and if it comes available though! - So are these Handsets compatible with 4G here in Aus?

 - Hmm.. about $660 shipped from handtec..

wow that's cheap, now I'm tempted to upgrade..
