    Being a huge fan of the old AvP games, I want to like this game - I even played all the way through it.

    But its just terrible … even for free, I'd rather spend my time elsewhere. Not recommended at all.

    Im a fan of the Aliens license. Always have been.

    I actually ordered the collectors on PC. Now the PC version lessens the blow more since third party mods have come out already to make it look a bit more decent.

    Nothing helps with the horrible horrible AI, unless something is released to patch that, which is very doubtful.

    I played through on Ultimate badass as that was the only one that even remotely gave a very small and minute challenge.
    Was fun going back to LV-426, reliving that from the film and the little touches with references to the movie was really well recieved from this Aliens fan. Better textures and and a updated engine would have been welcomed but no ….

    Is the collectors edition worth it? IMO, yes the Powerloader statue went on the display shelf with the rest of my collectibles, was a good addition.

    The DLC … meh really … no big game changer … I mean who really wants to play as a skinned APONE or DRAKE who where very minor characters.

    Overall as a package … you would be looking and making a informed decision on whether the statue and some very lacklustre DLC is worth your 69 smackaroos

    I think people are failing to differentiate the fact its not just the gane but also the Collectors edition.

    People negging the deal based on the game.

    Comparable, this is the cheapest Collectors edition sourced locally.

      Yes and no.

      For starters, "people negging" was only one actual neg when you posted and that person explained themselves poorly and is one vote away from having their vote removed. So I think you're being a bit sensitive about "people" over one neg vote most don't agree with.

      Second up; it's a good price for the product, but it's a bad product. Most people are posting about how it's a bad product but not voting either positive or negative, just warning people off. If an electric shaver was posted on OzBargain and people told us, without voting negative, that it was a bad product that tended to cut up the users face… saying that this version comes with a special shaver stand wouldn't exactly counter that point.

        Hey, I get what ur saying but just because its the cheapest doesn't mean it's a bargain.. Now correct me if I'm wrong but to be a bargain, the product must also represent value for money. This is where it so miserably fails and ill tell u right now, for 74$ ur buying one of the worst games on record. Just have a look at the steam ratings and reviews. For 74$ u can buy the best current games and atleast have a positive experience

        So your basically endorsing people here to buy this crap while I'm here warning people how crap it is.

        Hell I don't care if u un-neg my comments and ratings , I was just trying to save some unweary ozbarginers some $$$$

    Actually I wouldn't install it for free after seeing it on my friends pc

    Total scam these developers pulled.. Shame on you sega

    Go watch the demo release few years back compared to this game! Totally different. We were all scammed by sega.
