Even when I bought the wrong size, they just gave me a return address, and refunded as soon as they received the items back.
Once they sent me the wrong dress, and gave me a postage-paid address to send it back to them to that they could send the correct item. That said, I ended up keeping it because it was better than the one I had paid for (hahaha).I order from them a lot, and I always love their dresses, and get heaps of compliments. Maybe just a bad first time?
I've spent over $600 easily and have only positive things to say. A good mate of mine bought $1600 worth of clothes and had to return ~$600 due to sizing differences and she also had a very positive experience.

i bought two items from asos. one was damaged, the other was the wrong item. these were both obvious errors and could only be made by someone who doesn't take their job very seriously and couldn't care less. i spend over $64. after 2 months and lots of hassle, they finally refunded me $62 (i paid in $AUD, they refund in £GBP). so i spent some money for them to screw me around for ages and ended up with nothing.
