Would you like to qualify your comment. How do you know this?

Its still saying $149 on their site

      • happy to qualify - a joke my dear watson…
(they never seem as good when you have to explain them - was hoping the 2nd line would make it obvious)
        - i did vote positive on the deal… oh sigh

        • Thats ok, I just wanted to be sure.

Problem is that there have been too many pricing errors so didnt want to go down that grief path, I guess its a little too striven to joke with - but that's a personal opinion

    • I've seen the exact same machine for $159 at David Jones a couple of weeks ago, so this doesn't sound like a pricing error to me.

      Makes a good coffee too.

Original price was the pricing error

        • That is the clearance price because that is an outdated product I think.

        • Oh I see, I didn't get the joke. I do now.

        • I don't think it's outdated. Lavazza switched to Electrolux from Saeco within the last year I think.

        • Having said that, if you can still find one of the $119 Saeco Lavazza machines, I would go for those (I've seen one in Macquarie Centre Myer last week):

It's not automatic like the one in the deal, but the coffee is just as good.

NO Deal. You can get the same model from the Lavazza store directly for $199 with a milk frother. https://store.amodomio.com.au

Note that this is the classic model (manual long and short espresso button) as ascertained by the picture which conflicts with the specs on Harvey Norman's web page.

    • hmmmmm…well the steam wand on the machine works just fine. I wouldn't pay the extra $50 for the milk frother.

  • The pods are more expensive & the quality is worse then Aldi

    • I've had plenty of both (all 11 types of Aldi pods and about 9 types of Lavazza pods) and I strongly disagree with your comment about the quality. I find the Lavazza coffee much more flavorsome with a fuller body. They are about double the price though.

  • Price is at $149 as per HN Website and that is what I got charged on Sunday the 3rd!

    Got the joke Dr :)

Its not a $500 machine, but for a great black and manual milk froth option I thought it was outstanding value!
Its still on the web and avl in 2 colours!

Enjoying my Intenso blend this morning :)
