Delivery price kills it.. $18 to Post Code 3000 (Melbourne).

    • "Delivery price kills it.. $18 to Post Code 3000 (Melbourne)."

It was advertised as a deal for Brisbane wasn't it? So while your comment is valid, negging the deal was unreasonable.

      "$19 Delivery to Adelaide (5000)"

  • It was marked as a deal IN Brisbane.

There is no excuse for charging that much for postage when actual cost to anywhere in Aus (including labour and packaging) would be about $4.

I agree, their postage costs are very high. That doesn't change the fact that the OP posted this flagged as a Brisbane deal. I assume this is his indication that it's not a deal for others interstate. For you and others (outside of Brisbane) to neg his deal ignores the restricted nature of the deal as specified.

It's really not that hard to understand. Why were you even considering a deal that was flagged as "Brisbane"?

  • Because they offer to post to places that are not Brisbane.

    • So what? You negged the OP's deal (that was posted as a pickup deal for Brisbane people) because of the vendor's high postage costs. The deal was never posted for you but you are taking it out on the OP.

Read the heading of this deal again. It's really clear and there is a good reason why it was specified this way. If Computer Alliance posted this as a good deal for all of the country, then your comments and negs would be well justified. But that is not the case.

Thank you. Given I'd taken the trouble to determine that this was really only a good deal if you didn't require postage I am disappointed to get negative votes as I'm not responsible for the sellers policies, just my post.

Exactly mate, that's why I was defending the deal to some ignoramuses.
