  • O.M.G.

  • Wow! So cheap!

  • +1

My first thought was; wow, that's expensive for a mid-90's video game.

  • +9

I was going to buy it because the price is fantastic, but my backlog is too great, by the time i finish them all this game would be too cheap.
But great price… why does logic have to hit me…..

    • +8

Happens to me too often. Buy a game for $60 and put it on my backlog pile. Finally play it and see copies everywhere for $20

    • +1

Same. After the On Demand sale I have like 9 games in my 'to play' pile (and still have Borderlands 2 to DLC to finish first). By the time I get to it it'll be much cheaper so I may as well wait.

Wasn't going to get it but the reviews are excellent.

I'm with you there buddy. It doesn't help that both Skyrim and Fallout 3 are on the backlog pile, it'll take quite a while to beat those.

      Anyways great price +1.

    • Just beat portal, one down…

  • Thx..nice. Awesome game 10/10

  • shipping is $17?? no more free shipping…

  • how come i put it into cart and the price comes to $49.99, also little red letters shows SOLD OUT :(

    • +1

      that's why…

      • Just placed my order - still showing as $39.95, free shipping and in stock for all platforms =D

      • perhaps they put only 10 items for that special price…

  • WOW! How could I resist that, thanks.

  • It's a great game. Specifically, if you like playing Nathan Drake(Uncharted series) then you will surely get the same feeling while playing this game. highly recommended at this price.

Mine came up free shipping, but 2% for visa/mc and 2% for paypal is a bit sucky.

    • i didnt think that as a seller, you were allowed to charge a surcharge for PayPal use…?

      • Through ebay you can't. But websites can (fishpond also does it)

        • +1

unless i'm interpreting it wrong, the PayPal User Agreement seems to say otherwise…

Under Point 13. Receiving Funds it states:

13.3. If you receive funds through our Services you must:

          • pay any Fees for receiving the funds into your Account depending on whether it is a Commercial Transaction or Personal Transaction;
          • not ask the buyer to send you the payment through a Personal Transaction if you sell goods or services and PayPal is chosen as the payment method; or
          • not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting our Services as a payment method.
        • Hmm. Seems you are right, thought that rule was just for ebay.

        • +1

I made sure i read it a few times lol. so mwave and fishpond both being dodgey?
          Care to comment Mwave rep?

        • Doesn't seem to be in the Merchant Services Agreement, just Personal accounts.

          https://cms.paypal.com/au/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&conteā€¦

(I'm certainly not taking sides - it's just an observation - happy to be proven incorrect)

  • Sorry the PS3 version is sold out now.

    • it was still in stock when i ordered, however after registration and i was going through checkout, it's been sold out, nice joke…

      • SAME..WTF
Try Again and does the same

  • PS3 version is now listed at $49.99 and is pre-order only.

    Now thant's a bigger bargain,because I won't be impulsively buying it.

(Too many previously purchased ozbargain PS3 games purchased and not yet played though)

Thanks for the post though asvinder.

pfft. Who pays more than $4.95 for an Xbox 360 game?

  • PS3 and Xbox 360 has now SOLD OUT!

PC version remaining, still 45 units left

  • Picked up the PS3 version, thanks for the heads up OP.

2% visa/paypal surcharge is a little annoying but it's still cheaper than anywhere else I've seen so oh well.

Hope it comes before the weekend.

  • Are you looking at shipping these tomorrow? Hoping I get mine by Friday! wooooo TombRaider weekend!

    • +2

We have them physically here so looking at trying to ship them out today and tomorrow.

      • deleted - irrelevant

  • Just a heads up, while not as cheap I noticed Mariio128 had it for about $48 delivered for those who REALLY want it. Certainly not as good a price as this though.

  • I was looking for the Xbox version at JB only yesterday, but decided against the $69 price (when ozgameshop was ~$49 delivered).

Never heard of Mariio128, what are they like SirFlibbled?

    • I started using them about a year ago and never had a problem. Based in Hong Kong and they sell Asian versions mainly (but always have been in English). Postage takes about 2 weeks. I've never had an issue with them although their postage is a little high for HK postage at $6.

I have no idea why they have the extra 'i' in their name though, it makes them look rather dodgy (as does their website).

  • Sorry guys, first batch of stock all sold out

    • Does that mean there's going to be another batch ?

    • When is the first batch being shipped?

  • Tried to buy this an hour and a half ago my internet went out literally as i clicked checkout just came back on… SOLD OUT Garrrfuzzlefuzzle

  • +1

    Got mine today! Thanks!

    • Did you get a tracking number?

Mine is stated as shipped on their site but haven't received any emails after the one notifying me my payment had been cleared.

      Thanks

      • +1

No tracking number. No email even saying it had been sent.

  • Anyone got charged twice? I just saw it on my net banking and it actually shows on the online order as well.
