I went to Coles Aberfoyle Park (the Hub) to get some pork mince yesterday and saw this special. 50c each loaf was a pretty good bargain.

      It's on special not reduced so yes they are fresh.

    Not really a fan of cheap supermarket bread unless I want the scent and taste of vegemite without putting vegemite on it

      Suggest you try the Coles "baked today for today" $2 loafs then. The wholemeal is the best.

        Are those the ones made in China and shipped here frozen to "bake"in store?

        Its like that dodgy orange juice that says "squeezed fresh daily" but that "day" was months ago, before it was concentrated, frozen, shipped and re-diluted.
