The device itself is a notebook/tablet and be can used either way.

      Comparing an Atom running Windows 8 to an ARM running Windows RT is not a comparison. The Atom will run x86 applications….

      The Asus Vivotab Smart, Atom based, gives this device real competition & is cheaper…
